Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) has been experiencing a surge in popularity of late, but hasn’t quite hit the big-time with more casual sports fans. The salary cap restrictions and positional requirements create a steep learning curve for DFS beginners. ScoreStreak is here to invent a new type of DFS site that is accessible for all players, both beginners and DFS veterans.

ScoreSteak is unique in that there is no salary cap to restrict who you select. This seems pretty simple, right? Just take all of the best players and profit, no skill required. Wrong. ScoreStreak utilizes “objectives” which must be accomplished to gain points. There are three categories of objectives, each with varying levels of difficulty and points allocated. The categories are Hits, Total Bases, and Strikeouts. If you think a player will have at least 2 hits, then plug him into the “2 Hits” slot. If he does, you’ll earn the points associated with that challenge. It might seem confusing at first, but it is very intuitive to pick up and learn. This ScoreStreak review will cover the game offerings, promotions, scoring, user experience, and customer service that you can expect with ScoreStreak.

Game Offerings

ScoreStreak is a new site that currently offers MLB Daily games. Other sports will be offered when they are in season. When selecting a game, you will find the “Featured Games” which are promoted tournaments with larger prizes. Selecting standard games will let you search for other game options including Head-to-head, Double-Ups, and 6-man tournaments. As the site continues to grow, we will see more and more game offerings.

Promotions and Special Events

Although there are not currently any major events or promotions, we fully expect ScoreStreak to offer some exciting events in the near future as the site expands to the mainstream.

Roster, Rules, and Scoring

As mentioned earlier, the site is very straightforward. There is no salary cap and all players are available to be selected, although each player can only be used once. Scoring is handled by achieving the objective successfully. The number of points earned is equal to the amount assigned to the objective. Score more points than the opposition and win!

User Experience

Veterans of other daily sites might find it jarring to login to ScoreStreak for the first time, but will quickly learn to navigate the interface. Newcomers to the daily game shouldn’t have an issue either.

Contest Selection

Selecting contests couldn’t be more simplistic. When you login, you will be prompted to join a game. While most other sites use a similar system of columns and rows with their offerings, ScoreStreak uses a visually appealing “block” approach where the details for each tournament is visible without having to click or mouse-over the contest.

Lineup Composition

The lineup building process was easy to use and looks fantastic too. You simply select the objective and the player list pops down to show you the eligible players. This process continues until all the positions are filled. The default sorting order for the player pool is by the highest number for that attribute. For example, “”(player-popup)Miguel Cabrera”:/players/miguel-cabrera-10323(player-profile)”:/players/Miguel_Cabrera-10323 might be the first option shown when selected a player for “Total Bases.” This makes it easy to find the top plays for the season, but the list can also be filtered by team or position if needed. Their aren’t really player profile pages to speak of, so you’ll have to find your detailed information elsewhere.

Mobile Support

ScoreStreak has an impressive mobile experience that is pretty to look at, but also functional too. You can easily login, join leagues, see your results, and edit lineups from your mobile device.

Here’s a list of capabilities available on DK Mobile:

Customer Service

Currently ScoreStreak is available via email or chat. The chat hours appear to be normal 8-5 business hours. There is no phone support at the current time. When we signed up for an account, a representative reached out to ask if we had any questions about this site. This is a small gesture, but one that shows that ScoreStreak takes its customer service seriously.

Cashier Options and Deposit Bonuses

It is important for sites to give its customers a variety of reliable deposit and withdrawal options and ScoreStreak follows the precedent set by other sites and does not disappoint. Accepted payment types include: credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and PayPal. They offer instant deposits and swift payouts! There is a $10 minimum deposit and withdrawal and no maximum withdrawal.

ScoreStreak offers a $10 deposit bonus on all new deposits. The bonus will release at a rate of $1 for every $1, which is the fastest in the industry. Our friends at ScoreStreak have informed us that other deposit bonus promotions will be coming soon, so stay tuned for other great offers.
