Hardcore grinders are often looking for sites with extremely sharp pricing and difficult salary structure that requires players to research to find the cheapest values to allow them to roster some more expensive players. If you are looking for a site like this, then Draftster is NOT the site for you! Draftster’s salary system is easy to pickup and very easy to roster all of your favorite players. This means you can roster several all-stars every night and avoid having to play someone who comes off the bench or rarely plays. In all, Drafster has plenty to offer other including an easy an intuitive interface and easy-to-learn scoring systems.

This Draftster review will cover the game offerings, promotions, scoring, user experience, and customer service that you can expect with Draftster. If you’d like to explore the site for yourself, signup using one of our links as and use the Drafster promo code “GRINDERS” for a 100% deposit bonus, up to $300.

Game Offerings

Baseball and Football are current in-season, so Draftster offers contests for both sports. It looks as though the other two major professional sports (NBA and NHL) will be offered in season too. Clicking “Contests” on the main menu takes you to the Contest Lobby where you can easily join your game.

Promotions and Special Events

At the time of this review, there were no promotions or special events going on. With the start of football season underway, we could see some exciting news coming from Draftster. Stay tuned! In the meantime, as always, you can signup through a RotoGrinders link and use the Drafster promo code “GRINDERS” for a 100% deposit bonus.

Roster, Rules, and Scoring

The scoring system for Drafter’s baseball offering is like a hybrid between FanDuel and DraftStreet’s (RIP DraftStreet). You can view the details when you join a contest as the rules are clearly displayed. The short version is that the scoring is easy to pickup for novices and experts alike. For a detailed listing of scoring, see the “Scoring” tab on this page or check it out on the individual contest that you join on Draftster.

User Experience

Draftster has followed the trend set by other newcomers to the DFS world and has made the visual experience a top priority. The clean styling is eye-catching, but not too much so that many DFS veterans won’t feel at home. Newcomers to the daily game don’t know the difference and will likely enjoy the pleasing visually pleasing interface.

Contest Selection

Game Selection Screen

Selecting contests is very straight forward. When you login, you will be prompted to join a game under the “Contests” section. Filters allow you to filter by sport, size, fee, and game type. You also have the ability to sort by these options as well. As the site continues to grow, we will see more and more game offerings.

Lineup Composition

The lineup building process was easy to use. At the top, the applicable position will be selected and all eligible players will with shown on screen including their matchup, game time, and salary. As you select a player, it automatically moves to the next position until all of the positions have been filled. The default sorting order for the player pool is by salary, and there aren’t really any other filtering or sorting options. At first I couldn’t find player profile pages for each player. When you click on a player name, it simply selects them and moves on to the next position. If you click on a player image, however, some summary information on that player pops up. Unfortunately there is no game log on the pop up.

Mobile Support

Draftster knows that its customers will need to make changes on the go and has made the mobile experience a priority. The site has a dedicated mobile interface, which makes navigation much easier than trying to view the desktop site on your phone. The mobile experience is pleasing to the eye, but more importantly brings functionality. You can easily login, join leagues, see your results, and edit lineups from your mobile device.

Here’s a list of capabilities available on the mobile site or mobile application:

Customer Service

Currently Draftster is available to be reached via phone or email. They can be reached via phone during normal business hours. At the moment, there is not a chat option available.

Cashier Options and Deposit Bonuses

Getting your money in and out of sites is an important part of the DFS experience and Draftster makes sure that it’s a pleasant one. Accepted payment types include: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) and PayPal. They offer instant deposits and quick payouts! There is a $10 minimum deposit and withdrawal and no maximum withdrawal. Deposit bonuses include a 100% match if you signup using a RotoGrinders link as and use the Drafster promo code “GRINDERS”.
