In the meantime, let’s dive into our FantasyDraft review.

Game Offerings:

The games available at FantasyDraft include salary cap contest for seven major sports including NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and PGA. For how bullish the site is, I imagine they’ll be adding other sports soon.

Their easy to navigate lobby makes it simple to join and filter contest by game type, entry fee, and prize-pool.

FantasyDraft also has two interesting features baked into their contests. The first is that a minimum of 25% of players win in their GPPs. This is much larger than other DFS sites, where only the top 10-20% of entries are paid out, depending on the prize structure or if live finals are involved. In the simplest sense though, FantasyDraft’s larger payout zones means more chances for newer players to win in larger GPPs.

FantasyDraft also caps the number of entries players can put into a single contest. This is done as a means to keep a level playing field. While some high-volume players might not like the multi-entry capping, casual gamers might find it attractive compared to larger sites, especially in combination with the larger payout zones in large-field tournaments.

Contest Types:

FantasyDraft offers a nice variety of user-created and guaranteed prize pool (GPP) contests. These include traditional 50/50 and Head-To-Head cash game formats, smaller user-created leagues, and a variety of qualifier contest to theirer large events and GPPs.

Lineup Construction:

The lineup building process at FantasyDraft is simple. Each lineup is required to have players from three different teams, and no more than five players from any single team.

The easy-to-read player cards provide all the information you need including current season stats, splits, the latest team and player news, and a summary of the player’s upcoming matchup.

FantasyDraft lists “flexible lineups” as one of its strengths, telling gamers on their website that “We give you the freedom to choose more of your favorite players.” For NFL, this simply is having a 2nd FLEX spot. However, in NBA, the flexibility is clear. Rosters are completed with 3 G’s, 3 F/C’s and 2 UTIL’s, offering a lineup format that’s truly unique from other sites.

Referral Program:

FantasyDraft offers a multi-level referral program that gets you paid not only on the players you refer, but also the players your referrals refer. You can earn commissions from the contest fees paid by players you refer, as well as the players they refer across 6 total tiers.

Check out the video below for an in depth explanation of this program.

FantasyDraft promo code and sign up bonuses

FantasyDraft’s perks for new members are on par with industry averages, with a few caveats.

Deposit bonuses are released at a 4% rate based off the contest entry fees you pay with real cash. So you won’t get your $100 matching deposit at once. Instead, you’ll receive $0.04 for every $1 spent on the site.

Additionally, your deposit drips out in “FantasyCash.” FantasyDraft describes FantasyCash as “site currency created for our players to use to pay contest entry fees. Contests entered with FantasyCash are eligible for the same cash prize payouts as those entered and paid for with real cash.” So while you can use FantasyCash to enter any contest on the site, you can’t directly withdraw it as real money.

How do you claim all of these extras? When you create your FantasyDraft account, you’ll find a link on the form that says “Have a Promo Code?” Click on that link and enter FantasyDraft promo code “GRINDERS” to receive the best sign-up bonuses available, including a 100% deposit bonus (up to $600) as well as a comped, 12-month subscription to FantasyDraft Incentives, our premium content.

Partners and Promotions

FantasyDraft has partnered with a number of pro athletes and announcers. At the time of this writing, these included Clayton Kershaw, Drew Brees, Chris Bosh, Kevin Love, Jimmy Johnson and more.

The site offers contests where you can play DFS against these pros, as well as tournaments where the grand prizes are trips and experiences meeting these celebrities.
