FastPick Review

By Jordan Davis (SmartWater), Last Updated 2 weeks ago

This FastPick review will introduce the product concept, interface, and format of the recently-released FastPick app. FastPick is Resorts Casino’s entry into the DFS space and while the FastPick app is currently only open to New Jersey residents, expansion to other states is part of the rollout plan.

FastPick takes a unique position in the DFS world, offering up quick to play games with little to no past DFS experience required to participate. The premise is simple – you select your team from 3 to 10 pre-paired players. You decide which player of the two you think will score the most points, leaving the other player as your opposition. Unlike traditional fantasy, the opposing team in FastPick is the house, rather than another player on the network. Win each of your matchups to beat the house and ultimately claim the contest payout.

Players on FastPick familiar with sportsbetting will recognize this parlay format. Given Resorts’ roots in the brick and mortar gaming realm, it should come as no surprise that their entry in the DFS space remains within a familiar wheelhouse.

Game Format and Payout Structure

Players on FastPick build their teams from pre-selected matchups (think Tom Brady vs. Aaron Rodgers). You’ll need to pick at least 3 players each game. Those bold enough can select up to 10 players. The higher the number of players you select, the higher the payout. Remember that you must win ALL of your matchups in order to win the overall contest. As you add more players, the challenge of being 100% correct becomes harder, rewarding success with multiplied payouts. Check out the table below for the breakdown of payouts and the requirements to achieve them.

FastPick Payouts

FastPick App and Interface

The FastPick app and browser version both feature streamlined functionality that makes it easy for players to jump right into the action. Simply select your sport and you’ll immediately see the FastPick selection interface where you’ll see the paired up players to make your selections. Choose the entry amount and view your potential earnings before submitting your FastPick entry.

FastPick Bonus Code

While we don’t currently have a FastPick bonus code for deposits yet, stay tuned to this review and we’ll update it when we have something to offer our members that play and deposit on FastPick. Hopefully we have something soon!

Conclusion

The FastPick app looks like it has just enough relevance for DFS players and a simplified interface for those interested in sportsbetting to attract players from both camps. The biggest barrier to entry of course is the requirement of being in New Jersey in order to play, but as FastPick expands to other states, we wouldn’t be surprised to see interest continue growing for variants of daily fantasy like this one.
