In this Playline review we will highlight the game format and features of this new site that aims to offer sports fans an alternative to salary cap and draft format fantasy games.
Playline is a company with some heavy hitter backing – literally. UFC Champ Michael Bisping and Boxing Hall of Famer Riddick Bowe are just a few of the names behind the company. Based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Playline offers players a simple and casual way to add excitement to the daily slate of games across several sports.
Playline Game Format
Rather than building rosters and aiming for the highest fantasy scores, Playline contests pre-select a lineup of players for you. Entrants then enter their predicted stat lines for each of the players in the contest. For example, in the below contest you would enter your best prediction for both rushing attempts as well as rushing yards for each of the players.
The closer you are to the stat, the higher your score will be. Bonuses are granted for being within a certain range, and a MASSIVE prize awaits the entrant that is 100% accurate in the contest – more on that below.
Playline Promo Code
Playline currently offers a TON of free contests with real cash prizes. Once real money games are launched, we’ll be sure to update you with information on the best Playline promo code bonuses for when you’re ready to deposit on Playline.
Prizes and Bonuses
Real money games on Playline are in the works. In the meantime, all of the contests currently visible in the lobby are completely free to enter – and pay out real cash prizes!
Simply create an account and join the contests for the sports available (NFL and NBA at the moment, with more leagues in development).
As mentioned earlier, Playline is offering an insane bonus for the perfectly accurate contest entrant. Special “Perfect Line” contests feature a massive bonus prize for the entrant that predicts the EXACT stat line for each of the selected players. This is a massive prize worth aiming for, as it’s often a cool $1,000,000! It’s harder than you think, but definitely achievable by the right sports mind out there.
The PlayLine app is currently available in the iOS store, with Android users able to access the site through a browser. The navigation is straight forward so users shouldn’t have a problem getting into contests when they’re available.
As the DFS industry matures, we expect more sites to create unique ways for fans of all skill levels to enjoy daily fantasy sports. PlayLine offers an interesting concept that should be easy for beginners to hop into while also having enough variance in scores to make matchup research and player analysis a powerful tool for contest entrants.
All in all, we’re excited to see the DFS industry grow and evolve, and can’t wait for real money cash games added to the PlayLine’s offering!
