Welcome to SlateIQ MLB! We leverage our extensive contest ResultsDB to search for the 25 most similar DraftKings slates that match certain conditions we’ll see tonight. Below, you’ll find some descriptive stats and information about those slates.
NOTE: SlateIQ is only possible for DraftKings at the moment, but we’ll be sure to announce if we can do this type of analysis on other sites in the future.
Slate Texture
Similar – The 25 most similar slate’s to tonight based on slate size & player salary & positional comparisons.
Average – All slates of the same size.
50/50 Cash Line – Projected Cash Line for 50/50 Contests for Tonight’s Slate.
GPP Cash Line – Projected Cash Line for GPPs for Tonight’s Slate.
5 Player Stacking percentage – The usage of 5 player stacks across lineups compared to slate size average.
4 Player Stacking percentage – The usage of 4 player stacks across lineups compared to slate size average.
Average Ownership – The aggregate own % of top .1% lineups compared to slate size average.
Chalk Hit Rate – Percentage of top-5 owned players in historically similar slates that had higher exposure in winning lineups than ownership percentage.
Slate Game Count – Average game count for historically similar slates.
Slate Player Count – Average player count for historically similar slates.
SP Salaries and Ownership – Average salaries and ownership levels for pitchers ranked by salary.
Team Stacking
The projected ownership and leverage for 4/5-hitter stacks based on results from the 25 most similar slates. Use this chart to visualize team ownership and expected leverage. Apply your own knowledge to make educated assessments on which teams could provide an advantage in tournaments. IMPORTANT: Be sure to check for updates as lock approaches. Changes in lineups/projected ownership will cause shifts in expected leverage. The last update of the day will come no later than 45 minutes before lineup lock.
