This article has helped me immensely, however , there are a few points that I’m unclear about. The article indicates a Leverage title, Is negative leverage bad (not good) or does it really matter?

Is negative leverage bad (not good)

Leverage is good, but it’s relative.

    — Projected Ownership has to be correct (which it is good but not 100% ever)
    — The projected chance at success has to be roughly accurate (this is abstract, and subject to interpretation).

Those elements combine to determine whether leverage is plus or minus….

So assuming all is correct, we love positive leverage! but we have to remember that these are still projections, and layering on your own thoughts about both ownership and chance of success can help you better assess your own feeling on how much leverage you can gain by rostering a player or stack.
