Historical Numbers Against the Spread
Tonight’s matchup features the 76ers who currently rank 4th in the Eastern conference with a record of 43-25 (6-4 in their last 10), while the Kings are currently on the bubble of making the playoffs in the Western Conference, ranking 9th with a record of 33-34 (3-7 in their last 10).
Kings Historical Numbers Against the Spread
Even though the Kings seem to be in a bit of a tailspin lately, they have been one of the best teams to bet on this season, going 39-26-2 ATS (2nd in the league). There are generally a few spots where I look to bet on or against the Kings. The Kings have been a fantastic team to bet when they are rested and when they are playing at home, but have been entirely different on the road and on back-to-backs. On the season, the Kings have been a barely above .500 team to bet on on the road going 17-16 ATS (which is very poor compared to their 22-10-2 ATS record at home), and with the high pace they play at, they have been the absolute worst team to bet on in the second leg of a back-to-back game this season, going 2-9 ATS. Overall, this is a very bad spot for the Kings to cover.
76ers Historical Numbers Against the Spread
Even though Philly has been one of the best teams in the league this year, they haven’t quite played to expectations, and as such they have been a below average team to bet on going 32-36 ATS. The spot where they have really thrived this season has been at home where they own a fantastic 27-9 record straight up and are 19-17 ATS. Additionally, the 76ers come into this game on two full days of rest, a situation in which they have performed above average for gamblers, going 9-8 ATS. Overall, this is an above average spot for the 76ers to cover.

At one point this season, the Kings were the best team to bet the over on, but that has regressed toward the mean and they have gone 33-34 on the over this season, which ranks near the middle of the pack. Today they play on the road where they have been one of the better teams in the league to cover going 19-14 on the over, however they have been well below average on the second half of back-to-back sets, going 4-7 on the over. Overall, this is an average spot for the Kings to cover the over.

Philly has been a below average team to bet the over on this season, going 31-37 (8th worst in the league). Looking at the overall situation for this game, it doesn’t seem like a good spot for the 76ers to cover the over as they have gone 5-13 on the over on multiple days rest, and 17-19 at home. Overall, this is a below average spot for the 76ers to cover the over.
