The Washington Wizards currently sit 11th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 30-45 (3-7 in their last 10), while the Suns sit last in the Western Conference with a record of 17-58 (3-7 in their last 10).

As of right now, the Suns are one of the most likely candidates to get the 1st overall pick in the upcoming draft and have been well below average for bettors this seast at 34-41 ATS (5th worst in the league). Looking at Phoenix home/road splits, they have pretty much covered at the same rate on the road and at home. Additionally, the Suns have been a below average teams to bet on a full day’s rest going 20-27 ATS. Overall, this is an average spot for the Suns to cover.

With the Wizards playing at one of the fastest paces in the league and being absolutely horrible on the defensive end, no team has covered the over at a higher rate this season than the Wizards going 44-30-1. The Wizards have been the 2nd best team at covering the over at home this season, but have been slightly worse on the road (21-15-1). Looking at their numbers on back-to-backs, we see that they are covering at a rate similar to their overall rate (9-6). This is an average spot for the Wizards to cover the over.
Suns Historical Numbers Against the Spread
Even though the Suns have played at an above average pace and have been one of the worst defensive teams in the league, they have covered the over at one of the lowest rates in the league going 31-43-1 (4th worst). While the Suns have been close to average at covering on the road, they have been terrible at home going 13-23 (3rd worst in the league). Additionally, the Suns have been the second worst team in the league at covering the over on a full day of rest going 17-30. Overall, this is a below average spot for the Suns to cover the over.
