I know it’s a major but this seems like one of the strongest fields almost ever.

All of the Top 100 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) are here so yes it is the strongest field in golf (minus the 20 club pros).

I realize this but usually I can “exclude” some guys pretty easily and this time I’m having some trouble lol

Early fade is Mr. Woods though. I’ll take a dangasin challenge as this would be a great week for it!

I know you need to know the conditions better but any guess at a winning score yet?

For anyone that is interested this youtuber plays all the Major courses the last day the public is allowed. Good insight on the course setup and the condition of it. Just thought I would share. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74jEKtzwBnE It is a 3 part series.

I think Broogsy will excel even more playing with Tiger and the crowds. He always likes being the underdog.

I was originally all over Brooks and will still have my shares but I hate that he just played this week and played well. Ownership will only go up based on that plus he doesn’t play B2B weeks a ton so that is a bit of a concern to me (very very minor) but enough to make me toggle off him to a pivot on a couple lineups.

He play 4 weeks in a row about 3 months ago and went 27h, 2nd, MC and 56th. Only one of those four results is remotely acceptable at his price point !!

I think single digits under par regardless of setup – probably 275-276.

Interested in the rough as I heard they have had a fair bit of rain but not a lot of heat so rough will be just starting to thicken up at the ground but should not have the penal length and overall thickness. If it plays like that then someone might be able to go one or two shots lower but it’s a pretty tough test continually and I really only like 3 holes on the entire course as good birdie chances so the bogey avoidance factor is key this week.

  • Pbasniper

Last years nut lineup Brooks, Tiger, Rahm, Cink, Adam Scott, Woodland totaling $49,900 and 626 points.

Yeah I’ll have bogey avoidance heavier weighted.

Not sure I’m necessarily a believer in this helping but I read Keegs used to play here all the time when he attended St. John’s. He’s cheap enough where that might be a good angle as a tiebreaker (or pivot from some other higher owned guys).

Patton Kizzire catches my eye down at the bottom too

Hopefully Brooks’ around the green is better this week.

Looks like you’ll need some high ball flight for these greens.

I’m all about the freebie info. Just in case people need some more info. This was updated 2/27/19:

    I’m going balanced

BIF, I remember at the Players that you hated Casey due to his course history, but I loved him due to recent form and excellent approach/ball-striking. He quickly bombed out there and then came right back and won a tournament the next week. With this being virtually a no CH course (yes, a couple years to look at), do you think he’s a good fit at least?

3600 short trying to do it for this one

  • BrianVT

Wow, Scott Piercy $6500. I hadn’t looked at pricing until today.

I sure hope recency bias is alive and well here! This week is a whole nother animal. I guess we’ve heard that before and been proved wrong though, so we’ll see…

I like Vegas at 7100. Only issue I see is his accuracy off the tee. But it seems he has been pretty solid at some tough events with strong fields.

    Also like me some Bubba!

I’m on the fence whether I play him or not. Still in my whiddled down to 50 guys second cut but not sure if he survives the final 32ish cut.

Saw interesting stat about him that he is 10/14 in Cuts made but all 10 made cuts were Top 25’s. Feast or famine with him.

  • Dunzor

I put the first batch of beat Dunzor H2H in the league lobby. All $1 for now though depending on how many contests I end up in I could add a couple for $5 later in the week. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to get myself any $555 tickets for this week so if I’m going to repeat my big win from last year’s PGA Champ, it is going to require a tougher score in a bigger field GPP.
