What you guys think of DK going with a $100 MM and a $10 quarter of a MM?

I don’t hate it for a change once a year for something different as many people have asked for a $250K or $500K top prize instead of a Milly but it is still a little too top loaded for 1st prize given their total purse.

I think it’s a cool mix. Guys who play a few $20 MM can now shove all in on one lineup and pull for it and some bigger guys have less players to wade through. I’d prefer it a little flatter, but I won’t be saying that if I won a mil haha

Yep. I’m not particularly good at PGA DFS but that price seems way too low.

Thank god this was posted early so I can get an idea of how to attack the tournament. I’m starting to get better at golf on FanDuel. I don’t mess around with golf on DraftKings-it’s more of a pain in the butt to play on that than on FanDuel, lol! I’m not going to worry about doing lineups though in case we have the last minute WD’s or something.

Bryson is priced way too low for his historical finishes but on this particular course setup it might be fair. If it was any other course it’s obviously too low.

But Bryson isn’t accurate off the tee, gains all his SG OTT from distance (won’t matter as much here), is terrible out of the rough, can’t play in windy conditions, isn’t good on non-birdie fest courses (basically all his wins are like birdie fests), and is terrible at par 4s relative to other top players.

Each week I look at historical performance against only the players in this week’s field. This week I’m looking at performance in majors only. Here’s the analysis:

I forget which podcast brought it up but if we’re talking about SG : Family Life, I might be all over Billy Ho.

At his price and the way he’s been playing all year during his wife’s journey through sobriety, I might be a believer in SG:Fam

IF this course plays like a normal US Open (so not like Erin Hills and a lot of recent ones) and plays like it did in 2010 where E was the winning score, then I would say Scrambling is the most important stat. More so than SG on a relative basis.

After all the 2010 winner was McDowell who’s pretty much known for chipping and putting.

Who is gonna WD from the US Open before the tourney that they just went through hell to qualify for or are already a top player trying to win a major

Didn’t she just celebrate 2 or 3 years of sobriety ? Isn’t the hard part over with or is he going to perpetually gain SG: Fam ?

I vote Lucas Glover for this category as well because any day he wakes up and his crazy bitch hasn’t stabbed him to death while he slept is worth 1 SG for sure.

I’d say McDowell has made his living hitting it 265 yards down the center of the tightest fairways on the planet (his Ryder Cup appearances also support that) – then when he misses a green, he can chip/putt to save himself but it’s always been his driver first when he plays well.

Yea I’m basically in agreement. This isn’t a course that favors distance. Hence that’s why I’m hesitant to choose Bryson even though talent wise he’s way too cheap.

    Same goes with JT.

Prime time tv for East Coast. Spieth, Rose, Woods tee at 5:09 ET. 5 hour round over at 10:00. What a luck of draw that Tiger is showcased.

Spot on. Today GMac hits 79% fairways( missed first 2). Only hits 55% GIR, And shoots 5 under. If he could improve iron play,my gosh! If I only hit 8 GIR,lucky to shoot 80.

Damnit BIF wins. I would have swore it was 1 year… it was 3

Disregard my prior post. le sigh

No worries – I think he only came public about it in last year but I guess it had been a battle for her/them the first year or two and I think once she got over the major hurdle and turned the corner in her recovery, they spoke out about it.

Someone could get injured or something from now until then and I have horrible luck picking the WD bums.

Actually it’s one of Rounds 1-3 plus Round 4 depending on the course rotation they played. Most of the bigger names player Pebble Sat-Sun but many played it on Thurs or Friday.
