Played one tournament since the break – t45 with a -10 at Rocket Mortgage which is a good comp to this course.

Shot four rounds under 70 at this course last year.

Not really looking for anyone’s approval but at min-price on DK you could do way worse.

I have him and Fabian Gomez in a couple lines for cheap plays…I like your style.

19%. Potentially in the top 5 owned.

Didn’t see this coming a few days ago but now I find myself building Brooks Koepka groups for the MM.

Aaron Cockerill with the 5 Bir/1 Eag 1st round today!

    Love it!

Unfortunately Beef is also holding me back. Hopefully he gets some birdies here on the back 9.

I have been successfully fading Brooks (one of the few things I’ve been doing right since the restart). But since I’m rolling a few more lineups than usual, I made one Koepka lineup. Throwing in a punt play I wouldn’t normally make in it too, for the halibut. (Some 6,000 gopher, haven’t made a final decision on whom yet).

Henley will be popular; probably 16-18%. I’ll have plenty. He’s just below English every way I run it. Both are better values than anyone above them, IMO.

I don’t get all the love for him – people are too in love with his SG:APP stats.

He doesn’t drive it well nor does he putt well – not sure how he sustains 4 solid rounds in a birdie fest. Those parts of his game will likely cost him at least one bad round.

I just think there are better all around options for less money

He’s from where I live and during the shutdown, he was back at home and played in the Euro Tour simulations at my golf club. We have a great Golf Simulator setup where we have 4 Trackman simulator bays so he came to our club and play his rounds on our Simulators.

The added bonus for us hosting him was that we didn’t have those golf courses in our course options on the Simulator so the Euro Tour got the courses added to our machines for us at no cost.

I didn’t even look at ATG. P4, BOW, Scram, OTT, GIR, Prox, T2G. Very high in all of those, combined with good recent form.

    It is golf, though.

Sorry I meant APP not around the green

OTT he isn’t great and it’s his accuracy holding up his terrible distance stats

He has actually gotten shorter off the tee over the past 4 years from almost 300 down to 288; weird stat given the advances in technology and swing analysis

I didn’t mean to have OTT in there. The others are valid, though. I love accuracy around water hazards. To each his own, we shall see.

This is true – just hard for me to click on him at $9200 for a $7000 golfer though the same can be said for 25+ diff guys this week.

Burns at $8500 gives me the same queasiness and I’m a big fan of Sammy.

I need to ask Santa for these! A full golf simulator and all the EURO Tour courses. LOLOL

As I do more research this morning I have dialed my Henley, Norlander and Hoffman exposure way back and added in DJ (lord help me), Straka, Werenski, Wise and Schenk.

Highest owned players for me are Glover, Casey and English.

150 lineups and my player pool is 52, the highest it’s been in awhile. 34/52 tee off in the AM.

I’m with you. 9200 for a guy who just doesn’t really ever make birdies in what projects to be a birdie fest. Missed the cut last year and missed the cut two years ago at the Rocket Mortgage which is being used by many as a comp course.

The ballstriking since the restart is there for sure, but he’s going to have to score consistently.

  • FredPupples

About 50 percent of my lineups are Finau/DJ/ 4 scrubs.
The other 50 percent of my lineups are not.
    Do you like my strategy?

  • lfn1992

Norlander is tilting me a lot. I’ve been riding him I think every week for the last three weeks – of course, easy to plug him into LUs when he’s under 7k. Now he’s at a price where you have to really love him and usually I fade guys after 4 straight weeks of play. But he’s been so red-hot over the last few weeks and I can’t see his putter cooling off here. I find myself putting him in due to the fact I don’t love other options in his price range.
