All in all some pretty decent golfing weather for the 3M open in Blaine, MN. Full forecast follows:
THURS – A few of Mother Nature’s Fireworks
AM – Low chance of rain. Winds start light, climb to just 5mph late AM.
PM – Isolated t-storms (coverage doesn’t look all that impressive), winds remain fairly light, 5-10mph.
FRI – Better AM rain chances
AM – Could see some storms roll through very early Friday, lingering rain/storms possible in to golfing hours. Winds remain light.
PM – Again a chance of some rain, but not a very high chance. Winds should hold around or under 10mph sustained.
SAT & SUN – Lower rain chances, winds remain light.
Overall – The main goal is always to avoid peak winds, but we really don’t have much wind to worry about this tournament, so I think you ignore weather this week and go about your process as usual.
