I have been part of this DFS community now for over 6 years and it seems to get better each and every year. With the willingness to give support to those in need or just to bounce plays off of each other, this community is great.

I am writing this little message in hopes to have some of you great people to keep my wife and I in your prayers and thoughts. About three weeks ago, my wife went in for a routine check up at her doctors for numbness on the right side of her body. Thinking that it was just a muscle issue or a pinched nerve, we both figured it would be an in and out appointment. That wasn’t the case as they sent her directly to the ER for an MRI and we found out that day that she has been diagnosed with MS.

Her father has had it for over 30 years so she knows what is in store in the future, but it is all new to me. My nerves have calmed down since we have spoke with the neurologist and found out that a lot of people live with this disease and you would never know it.

The scary part now is how the drugs needed for this disease have some horrible side effects, but they have to put that in there for lawsuit reason I suppose.

So I guess I just ask that you keep us in your prayers if you would and if anyone has any personal experience in MS, I would love to hear how you handled it or what happened.

This is a new life we are aiming at and with God’s hand we got this.

    Thanks for listening

Oh no :( So sorry to hear this man. Best wishes.

    Just a thought…
MS is known to be misdiagnosed,as other ailments can cause same symptoms as MS.Please get a second opinion if you havent already and also go online and research.Doctors are known to make mistakes and prescribe unnecessary toxic medications for diseases patients dont reallly have. Also a naturopathic doctor who also holds a medical degree might be something to also look into..I have no idea if your wife’s case fits into this category, but please do some due diligence if you havent already.I hope for the best!

There are a lot of unknowns with MS and it can be very different for each person with the disease. I was diagnosed over 2 years ago, took over a decade to figure out what was going on but my brains lit up like a Christmas tree so we’re certain today what it is. Finding out is rough, the unknown can be terrifying, keep a positive attitude because MS is going to do what it’s going to do. After a lot of research and consultation with multiple doctors I made the decision not to take the drugs, personal choice, not easy to make. I’ve been following the Wahls Protocol for 2 years now, google it for more info. Disclaimer – I’m not a doctor and you should consult one before listening to me!! Best wishes, I know this is a rough time for you and your family.
