Any of the major sites going to offer dfs for this league? Starts this weekend

I have been wondering the same thing!

    Anything!!!!

Doubt we see contests anywhere soon…it seems to be the equivalent of offering Triple A and double A fantasy contests which I haven’t seen yet…however I think we will see contests when the XFL returns!

The other day I saw an article with play breakdowns from the scrimmages. run/pass percentages. Does anyone know where to find that? I cant seem to find the article again.

I’m not sure that’s entirely true, as these games are going to be on CBS.
There aren’t major networks airing AA games in prime time, so that has to add some allure to this.

Having said that, I don’t blame DK’s for not devoting resourcing to pricing and creating a product that we don’t even know people will be interested in. I don’t blame them if they actually wanted to see how playing time, rosters shake out, tv ratings etc, before bothering,
Also, I’m not sure if they have to reach deals with organizations to offer fantasy, so that could be in play too…although, if I was the AAE, i’d be paying DK to offer slates in an attempt to drum up interest lol

I put together preseason boxscores for AAF and starting rosters at https://noextrapoints.com/

You can play DFS on @Fanball or season-long at http://altfantasysports.com

The official AAF app has an in-game live “Predict the Play” game where you earn points (unclear if there are any prizes).

MGM is the official partnered sports betting app so you can bet games there if you live in NJ/NV.

Ok so what do we think the chalk is? Richardson, Stacy, Bercovici, Guerra? I feel like it will be best to avoid highly owned players being that the whole thing is unknown.

  • SwedishFishy

Denard Robinson is the toxic chalk

Just to have a reason to watch, I parlayed the Over 54 on both Saturday AAF games.

But I do NOT have a problem !

Thought the SD-SA game was well worth watching, definitely way more entertaining than week 4 of the preseason and 2 crap NFL teams. From a betting perspective, I’d be taking the under on most games and bet against the ATL Dumpster Fire before the bookmakers catch on

  • MHDU2424

I bet we see DK add it soon

  • RedStorm25

The on field product was much better than I thought it would be. And CBS presented the game very well and made it seem like an important and legitimate event. I’m really hoping DK/FD starts offering contests really soon because this has a chance to stick.

Since this is supposed to be a developmental league. Do players have contracts, or can they play in the AAF one week, and the next get signed to an NFL team?

All players sign a 3 year contract but they have an “escape” clause that allows them out of the contract if an NFL team wants to sign them.

  • GRoberge3

any word on AAF being added?

  • djjoeyg

    DK said not this season

  • wolfjb1

And they are barred from jumping to the XFL which starts next year, per their contracts. Ebersol was on a podcast that I heard and he said we don’t want to be a developmental league for other leagues, we want to be a developmental league only for the NFL. Although, I’m a lawyer, and I can’t really see how this provision is enforceable in real life. It would be a bad look for the AAF to sue players who jump to the XFL

Prime time tv NFL network and Hackenberg is doing his best Johanthan Quinn impression. Look him up if you have to. Life’s mysteries, how did he qb a big 10 team, get drafted 2nd rd and now receives an aaf salary.

I still remember how good he looked as a true freshman at Penn State. Then O’Brien left and I have no idea what the hell happened to him.
