    What’s up with this?

  • Taterchipdip

Al_Smizzle wont be able to be replaced on Grinders Live, he is really that good. Not having Al around for the NBA season brings a tear to my eye.

Hopefully wherever hes going we can watch him on TV perhaps???

  • MikeMineo

Looking forward to his next venture. I find him to be far and away the most knowledgable guy for NBA DFS I’ve come across, so I’ll be missing him on RG particularly during basketball season.

Hopefully he’s talking daily bball on some platform come this fall

There are still many mountains for Al to climb, and he’ll take them on with 100% passion and enthusiasm, for sure.

(note: this does not mean that he’ll be climbing Everest or K2. Just clarifying)

Al and I haven’t always seen eye to eye. That being said. There is no denying his talent and passion for dfs. Happy and proud for him. RG should also be commended for creating a personality that can ascend to the highest level of broadcasting.

This. Much respect to Al’s ambition, passion, and ‘know how.’

Sad for us but excited for him. I always enjoyed the way Al would break down his picks and teach you to fish rather than simply touting players. Wish him all the best.

I feel lucky to have been able to listen/watch Al at rotogrinders. This is like the last episode of a favorite tv show – one that I even leaned something from.

Wishing Al good luck with whatever is next…

  • btwice80

Wishing you all the best, Al. You helped me quite a bit with NBA in particular.

one more low ball challenge ?

  • albrechp

An unbelievable talent in this industry! I always felt like we as DFS grinders were stealing when Al gave advice on the air. Huge shoes to fill…Thanks for all the help!

  • JGroove5

Im gonna miss Smizz! I improved in NBA last season and I think he was a key reason why. Probably my favorite DFS pro.

  • johnnyjohnny848

So does this mean Al is going to be on a show with Matt Berry fielding questions if we should start Leveon Bell or Jonathan Stewart lol? Oh how the times change, luckily rg has a great platform to bring in capable personalities.

  • noddy

He’s easily the best host here. So much knowledge and he’s not afraid to share. Good luck Al!

  • commandercoo1

Al and Dean are such a great combo. Their witty back-and-forth banter leaves me laughing out loud all the time! The show is truly a “show” and not just DFS analysis. The main reason I tune in is because it is funny and entertaining. Al is charismatic, humorous, and a true pro. He will be tough to replace.

I wonder if he’ll cry today when he says his goodbyes?

This. I know there are a lot of talented guys and I appreciate the work they all do. Al, especially with NBA, just made sense to me. I’m going to miss him on Grinders Live.

I don’t see myself watching anymore. I don’t watch for the picks but the back and forth between Smiz and Dean. I don’t think anyone can step in and be as interesting. I mean that with all due respect.

Al cannot be replaced. Love Smizzle’s humor and banter with Dean. Such a talented guy and cant wait to see where he will pop up next. Al is a fucking legend

  • maxeernst

Did Al announce where he is going?

  • FanalystDrew

Alvin is taking his talents to South Beach. RIP Cleveland

I mean this with all due respect to Al because I’ve also enjoyed his shows immensely, but Dean and DC are the best Grinders Live team.

edit: I shouldn’t say ‘best,’ but they are as good together as any other duo.
