There is a universal rule in NBA DFS: You plug in The Brow when he is home and build around him.

However, when is his price tag too high? On a 5x site like FanDuel, at $10700 Davis will need to hit 53.5 fantasy points to justify the value of his salary. The question is not if he can, we know that answer. The question is if he will do it tonight. How high is too high where it damages your options elsewhere too much. When is it time to pivot to a lower priced option that can do less to justify value?

To me, it comes down to this; Davis will be the guy to make or break your GPP lineups tonight. He will either be the guy you needed to have to cash, or bring those who faded him into a big pile of money. He will be very highly owned. I would be surprised if he is any less than 65% accross the industry.

    What do you guys think?

    It’s a big schedule. He’s not a must own.

I wasn’t smart enough to fade Durant last January and I’m not smart enough to fade AD now.

You see the thing is… Anthony Davis is really good at basketball.

If you know the NBA well enough to build a winning line up after spending 11k on one guy, go for it!

If Al isn’t smart enough to fade AD, then we’re all pretty much SHOL.

Go ahead and play AD with a smile on your face.

Last season he put up 50 FDP at home then next night 46 while he was only 9,000 so he paid off
his salary and he played 40 minutes both night…also, those games were the first two without Holiday

On basketball monster, they are projecting 41.94 FDP in 36 minutes

Well, he got those 42 points in 36 minutes…of actual time, not minutes played. That’s his FD score at the end of 3 quarters.

Yes sir. Could not bring myself to fade him and I am glad I didn’t.

    AD is a monster

Only GPP LU I cashed with was one I faded him in…

Still in awe of the winners LU tonight who signed up last Tuesday and goes nuts with 391.9 and has 3 cashes.

Play him at home no matter what the price is.

I think they talked about on opening night on grinderslive . I watched the first game and he was getting credited for blocks on shots that almost went in.

Have you seen Anthony Davis 9th block from that game? He “blocks” Aaron Gordon’s jumper that still hits the from of the rim. Here is the full highlights from that game the 9th “block is at the 4:08 mark. I also made a gif below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7Wnp7-cGlo

To sum things up, if this counts as a block I’m playing AD anytime he is at home.

It’s a block in the sense that the ball may have slightly grazed the tip of his finger.
