    DraftDay BLB Finalist

So it’s once again time for the annual what are sites doing with their NHL product this year thread. FD has talked about either removing or at worst reducing the value of +/- along with the removal of positive points for penalties. As of right now they appear to be the same as last year. On DK they made a roster change in MLB that limited people to a max of 5 batters in a lineup. Is that going into effect in NHL as well? (no more than 5 skaters per team)

Thought Letang played the most minutes on that D last night? And Shultz was a beast last year no?

true. Letang played a lot. 27 minutes. but Pouliot got used on the nyquist goal, was on the ice for another goal and took a bad penalty. Schultz played well for the pens last year, but his ice time was severely limited. last night the pens Pwr play was awful. 0-7 I think and there penalty kill let in a couple. Pouliot is a problem, he is not showing much at all. A true liability. I would be suprised if he makes it as a top 6 defenseman with the pens to start the year.

watch Pouliot be in the pens starting lineup opening day and score a hat trick. haha. honestly, in my opinion he stinks. he looks lost. seems like he needs a fresh start on another team.

haha. that is true. i took a swing at DFS baseball after the Allstar break. I will say it started to get ugly at the end , and I did keep playing. but I was at the point of enough is enough.

After the all star break is probably not the best time to play Dfs baseball if you are new to it. It usually gets pretty hard as all the fish leave and it’s all sharks and players who have gotten better that are left playing.

In regards to Pouliot, he’s been very successful at every level except the NHL. Not sure if his skills will translate, at this point it’s kind of do or die for him. If he can’t take a step forward this season he will get dealt like Beau Bennett did this summer. I’m not sure if management really likes him, but he has too much upside to give up on him when his value is already low. God I hate Ray Shero, if he wasn’t such an idiot the Pens would have Filip Forsberg instead of Pouliot…

haha. true. but the capital fans must be even more pissed. they traded Forsberg for Martin Erat. haha. By the way, Shero’s choice of Defenseman Joe Morrow over a Pittsburgh native , Brandon Saad pains me. There were reports that the Pens front office told Shero to take Saad, yet he still took Joe Morrow.

I honestly wish Pouliot got traded in the Kessel deal instead of Kasperi Kapanen.
