Are there any sites out there that do NOT allow site employees to play cash games? I’m looking for a 3rd site and I’d greatly appreciate the feedback. Thanks in advance.

Recently I decided to empty my account on a couple of sites, not because of any deficiency with the product or experience (both were great, frankly), but because I couldn’t beat the game

I’ve had the same feeling & the same approach Kevin.
I was playing on a dozen sites a few months ago – but I pulled back on many.

For my own personal reasons, which include: seeking a plethora of low stake options, seeking what I perceive as a truly level playing field, and avoiding unlimited entry sites: I am down to a few sites who get most of my business now. I dabble on the others, but playing there with dedicated bankrolls is over for me.

I started with one site, I blew up to a dozen, and I might be back to one site in a the near future.

And like Kev siad so profoundly – “not because of any deficiency with the product or experience…”

But by gum – I have really enjoyed this ride….

If they were doing something unethical would they really admit it in this forum anyway?

    Too true Bowens –

Like Charles Ponzi said in 1920 – “All of our investors money is being carefully invested in the arbitrage of international reply coupons. All monies are safe.”

Businessmen and politicians and promises. They go hand in hand. (Or is it hand in pocket?)

Ah yea I get the question, the only people at BD who can see the lineups are our developers and they don’t play on any site. I am the only site employee who plays other sites, and I don’t have access to any of it (ask anyone who has ever asked me for a bug fix on a lineup, it’s always “I’ll CC the developers and have them help you ASAP” :-p). It’s an interesting point you brought up though and I hadn’t considered it that site operators would have access to top lineups, however I think it is very very hard to enforce, and while it could be done by adding something to T&C, if the person was looking up top lineups to exploit people they probably wouldn’t have an issue using an account in someone elses’ name to take advantage. Anyways though, interesting issue and definitely something we will have to consider/look for in the future

Whitts brought it up in a thread that was ignored, but having site employees play at other sites for profit is a can of worms that could potentially doom the industry.

Wow, I was thinking about this thread, but I had no idea what happened to it, but you found it. It’s weird to quote myself, but considering where we are today, it’s eerie. I was never completely comfortable with sites that allowed their employees lineup access AND allowed them to play at other sites, but as a whole, our community just accepted the practice. Easy to say now, but in hindsight, the whole Leak-Gate could’ve been prevent had procedures been put in place.

Are people serious about this? This is the least of my worries about this industry as a player. Just build the best damn lineup you can and stop worrying about possible “advantages” for a minority players that probably amounts to .005% of the entire industry.

    lol

I will be the first to tell you at Fantasy Feud none of our employees have access to any User’s lineup before a contest begins. Only our developers have this access and I am the only one who can ask for it. That said nobody has to worry because I don’t really play DFS on other sites other than to test and when I do I join a low stakes game and frankly don’t care about winning.

I would think that all of my competitors have integrity in this regard and there shouldn’t be too much concern from the player perspective.

Interesting control here. You will get my $$ for CFB soon.

You need polarizing opinions to create a hot thread. Apparently, most people are now on the same side of the fence.

True, but you completely nailed it 2 years ago. You deserve some credit for that.
