DFS is literally the only reason I watch golf. Never watched it in my life until I started playing it on DraftKings. Also don’t play golf

The injuries would be crazy – fans love that.

I’ve previously noted my idea here of how every major sport would be significantly improved if each team were allowed to hide a single land mine on the field once each season.

If you see the other team avoiding a spot in the field, is that a sign that there is a mine there? Or are they bluffing to get a dead spot in coverage and then later throw to it – can you risk it? When do you play your mine – it is like time management or challenge flags in that there is real strategy there.

I’ve also thought adding handguns with a single bullet to all sports – including the Olympics – would revolutionize the game(s). You can shoot anyone else (not fans, refs, or coaches) in play but you only get that one bullet. I do admit that this would likely work best not in every game, but like in only the championship level ones – like once per World Series, or like only the Masters, etc.

I have a lot of good ideas.

Coatrack on the easy 9 to start goes for 9 pars.

I take smallANDflaccid too serious sometimes lol

I still say we need to prove the I could score so and so, or run/throw for so and so, or whatever other “tales” we tell.

RCB is actually like 30% owned in the higher up GPPs, lower owned in the lower ones, and like 60% in cash, which I guess was kinda expected. Basically, in cash, you are at a huge disadvantage without RCB. I would say it’s very, very hard you are cashing double ups now without RCB.

I am thinking in the double ups, you have to pick players that are all high owned. I have Im on my team, but at 6% ownership I get none of the upside if he plays extremely well; full downside if he craps the bed.

Hey a Rory 23 footer for birdie!

  • Quadhole

I think the PGA should ban DFS play….

  • BrowInLockerRoom

Ben An just made a 25 foot putt
    Wow

I think people would be shocked to see just how thorooughly Gamez would decimate some random spectator. Random spectator would would be at least +60 so far

I could play the best round of my life and still not do as well as Gamez did yesterday – fully aware of that – even with him on a hard course and me on an easy one. I am awful. (although I could probably beat him at putting)

  • dangasin

please grind this round out bryson

Scratch golfers at a local course could probably do better than +60 over 2 rounds. +20 to +30 wouldn’t be out of the question though which Gomez is still on pace to beat.

  • Quadhole

The way Fleet is playing, due for a double or worse

  • dangasin

ok bryson just get an eagle, birdie, eagle and then 3 more birdies and I will be satisfied

  • Cdavis21

why does it show Watson had to take a drop into the bunker???????

But he has more upside ability than downside for a 6% player. Look at the positive!

Well, actually apparently he has equal upside and downside given how he did last week. How do you shoot -6 one day and +7 the next. He must’ve had Greg Norman as his idol.

Bryson, Rory, etc. they’ll be fine. Just hope they get some birdies on the weekend. Hao-Tong Li, now I have no idea. The N/A on his stats should’ve of been a indicator, given the forum posts this week. He will be N/Aed from this tourney soon.

EDIT: Well, I HOPE Bryson is fine. I’m trying to look at the positives. He’s too talented to MC, but you never know, he’s got the water holes left.

  • BrowInLockerRoom

Benny an par 5 for the streak. Longer one though.

My guys playing better on thr front 9 than the back for some reason.

I audibly laugh every time I see some dude in golf shoes at a pro tournament. Do these guys seriously thing they are gonna get tag teamed in for someones tee shot? It’s not just a couple either, I swear I saw 10+ at last years Houston Open and I was too drunk to be paying attention for half of the time I was there.

It’s like that one guy at the last Ryder cup in the US where he was heckling Rory I think in a practice round and they bet him $100 bucks he couldn’t make like the 25 foot put and the dude came out from the ropes and drilled it

I understand being in a forum that focuses on DFS and golf in general would make you think that.

yep, I dont have any friends or family that play DFS. Some gamblers I talk too need an explanation on what DFS is. They have heard of Daily Fantasy Sports or at the very minimum DraftKings or Fan Duel but dont play. The answer I received on some occasions is they like it simple and sportsbook is easy. dont have to pick 6 golfers.

LOL thats why I looked for a place like RG, to talk about my DFS fix. We are a select few.

@CDavis: asked about Watson, I’m assuming he hit it in the water and had to drop?

That’s the hole I’m concerned about with Bryson. It’s a par 5, but if Bryson sprays his drive, which he has a tendency to do once in a while, that’s a potential double bogey there.

  • philthefox

Gay intentionally miss cut by putting 30 footer for chance at +2 only 16ft??

  • osuryanf

smallANDflaccid is dropping some high level ideas here today. I’m on board with every suggestion

  • BrowInLockerRoom

Fleetwood has 24 feet for a potential 3rd eagle.
