I see everyone mentioning Rory, Stenson, and Day for the top tier guys. Am I the only one taking shares of Hideki?

FYI: I didn’t rank course history from the last two years as highly and instead focused a little more before that. I’ve read/heard in 2015 the greens had a worm infestation and were watered heavily (easier putting, lower scores) and in 2016 new grass was on the greens and pin placements were a little more generous (lower scores).

Rough is also supposed to be longer this year and I expect the pin placements to be tougher. We could see higher scores and cut lines than 2015/2016.

Nope, I’ll have more exposure to Mats than Day. I have a feeling Day will be the lowest owned out of the top five highest priced guys.

So you must be in on Keegan, 2nd in 2014 and 3rd in 2013…

Jam, what makes you say that about the rough? it will be longer?
Also, someone mentioned Bubba switching back to the regular Titleist ball.. is this true?

  • Chip403

Top guys in terms of exposure for me I would say I have..

    Rory- 60%
    Stenson- 20%
    Day- 5%
    Hideki- 5%
    None of them (Balanced)- 10%

I’m not Jam but I think we utilize the same sources. The rough was ridiculous to start the week so they had to cut it down, heard it’s still thick and long.

It was reported that Bubba switched back to a Pro V and had them painted by Volvik. The Volvik was spinning way too much and he was losing distance.

One cheap play that needs to not go forgotten about this week is Ian Poulter.

    Shhh.

Seriously I loved Poulter last week and I love him this week, too.

Polling time. Lahiri, DeLaet, or Glover? Leaning toward Lahiri, but would appreciate the input.

Someone stated earlier in the thread about Lahiri and all his travel plus zero course history he would be my 3rd choice of the three.

    Glover
    DeLeat
    Lahiri

    in that order IMHO

  • Chip403

How high are you guys on Wesley Bryan this week? Now that he isn’t a secret (dammit lol)..still at $7.1k, not even worrying about heavy chalk play..he’s on almost every lineup I’ve put in.

Really?? That’s crazy. Only Bubba. Did he make that change last week or this week will be the first using the “Volvik painted Pro-V”?

The only flaw I think was wasnt the course redeisgned a bit in 2009? and how that effects some of the data

I looked for something like that in my reading, Wiki is usually great at that info. maybe I missed it? wouldnt be the first time.. Will try to find …. thanks

So many guys in the 7K and under range I like this week…Ollie, Hearn, Howell, Leishman, Glover, Poulter, Saunders(how can you not throw him into a couple lineups)
