Anyone think Koepka’s struggles are due to the change in clubs?

He could be struggling because of club change, but he seems like an absolute head case to me. The act that he snapped his driver while still hovering close to the cut line was not his brightest moment. I play a lot of golf, and I can get pissed on the course. I am even guilty of a couple club throws, but I’ve never come close to stepping on a driver.

At his price and his talent……Id LOVE to roster him this week, but I just can’t do it on a single entry event.

Anyone like Hattion this week? No course history but has been playing well. A little expensive, but priced with Oosty, Sneds, and Casey so I think most ppl will be on one of those three over Hatton.

  • nicholasmarsh

Feeling like CHIII should be a cash game lock, no? He has course history (as in he’s played here before, but nothing spectacular) and he seems to consistently make the cut. Not to mention that he is priced at $6.9K where he was $9.4K; realizing this is a different course.

Can someone talk me off the ledge?

Depending on how many lineups you roll out; imagine you’re doing a GPP if you’re worried about who people will be on. That said; I could see using him somewhere in a GPP… If I had a single bullet, he’d be tough to fire up. That’s what it takes to win a GPP though, right?

Just got the “Offices Closed” email for tomorrow. “Work” from home is a very loose term and I can’t wait to research DFS golf and the hockey / basketball slates all day tomorrow. Just picked up a cut too :)

Looks like a fun day .eyes low

I’d agree that he’s a GPP play only. Although he finished towards the top at the Honda, he was quite outspoken about his dislike for Bermuda greens. That’s enough for me to avoid him in cash lineups.

Random question, not sure if there’s any way to know this. About how many ppl max enter the dogleg and about how many are single bullets in there?

CH3 has good cut making history here but really has not had a decent finish in last 12 years of data that I have. He is 11/12 in those years for cuts made but he has 1 top ten and it is an 8th place finish 12 years ago. Since then his best finish is a 20th place finish.

I have him currently on 2/9 lineups but thinking I’m going to fade completely as the last 11 years shows that 20th place is a good finish…..if he finishes 30th and is 25% owned you are probably better fading and trying your luck elsewhere.

Devils Advocate : I would agree, at the same time he has never came into this tour. on such a streak or playing so well. His confidence level must be huge as in top 10 chance.

I’m a pretty die hard golf fan and never heard of him. Guessing more like 1%. Does he have any decent pga record?

I thought everyone here followed the WEB.COM tour. ? No ? That is how I know about ADAM Hadwin, and Derek F. and many others. The top 5 or 10 guys that come out of there each year (under 30) are real pro’s and as good as anyone 50 – 125 on the PGA money list. just my opinion that everyone should keep tabs on it and research all top 25 guys each year that get their tour card.

I like him alright i just like some guys priced under him much more. If he was like 7500 or lower id be much more intrested

coke back’s iron play stinks. He is ok to have in a gpp but if his iron play was better, he would be a lock for me, as of now, gpp also ran….

There were 30 guys who max entered last week. Not sure about single entries, I’m not counting all of those up

He’s been riding the struggle bus for 3+ months. Seems like a long time to only lay blame on an equipment change

So for the benefit of (me) I will post some of my short comings the last two weeks at least,
    1. I have not talked enough s___ to JimK to be annoying
    2. I have not listened to the short cryptic gifts from Jam-(gave you a dousy on game play), JimK, Bif, Yountingly, Bradgg or sileacone-sp
    3. Greed has been my best friend whispering in my ear, and I have listened, donating each week…..
    4. Over thought the easy plays-not following the principle of watching for myself how these knucklheads play, heck I can play and putt just as good!
    5. For Gpp- get the winner and pivot to plays that fit the course
    6. Cash-pick guys who can score/putt, on the upswing for variance, ala last week Henley…….(and I missed him after looking right at him).
    7. When on a slump, pros go back to the basics, which is what I did this week!-GL to all

  • Jamcclea

I had some Sam Saunders shares. I just removed them. I can’t do it, it just doesn’t make sense.

Agreed. I would rather pivot CH3 with people like Fat Pat, Delaet, McDowell, Henley, Harman, etc.
