Corey Connors at $7300 seems to be a bit of a misprice given his odds. That’s the name that really jumped off at me my first scroll through.

I think I’ll hide the course history columns more than 5 years back in my spreadsheet, lest I be distracted.

Also: Tim’s contest is almost 40% filled and it’s not even 1:30 on Monday. Better not sit around pondering, people! You can always change your default lineup 50 times in the next few days. I know this for a fact.

Still riding high from the big wins yesterday?

  • Getty33

Weather looks about perfect for the 1st 2 rounds. Saturday scattered rain and thunderstorms, Sunday clearing but windy (15-20 mph). Monkey fighters should wait until the weekend to play overs (as in worse scoring).

The last American to win this event was Marijuana Matt Every in 2015 his 2nd in a row at Bay Hill.

Last year’s scoring average was the 2nd worst in the 31 year history of the event due to unusually cold and windy conditions.

Unless they post lines from like the wrong tournament or something – seems to be how MKF does things

Marc Leishman got a big salary bump based on his course history. (It sure can’t be how he played last week, I thought he was too cheap at 7,300. But I was wrong.)

Don’t know how I feel about him at 8,200.

Monday is always a defining day for me. If I get into my set up, it gives me time to do extra reading. If I dont feel like it or am busy with life, it sets me back. If I dont want to do the work, I will lose, because my heart isnt into it. Woke up and attacked it with gusto. Not looking at all of the #beattheforum list – just had different tasks to get to.

So Yup, winning is an attitude adjustment
which whispered in my ear to take some winnings and be the volunteer.

I don’t look at it as $8200 as that does seem like a lot to pay for Leish but if you say to yourself that Leishman is only $2200 more than Robert Gamez then Leish seems like real good value !

Am I the only one who thinks this (below) when Tim refers to himself getting into his “set up” on a Monday morning after a winning weekend ?

    lol.

I will tell you this about value: I only played the Bass of the Sea in one lineup last week, due to his recent form. But I believe the Colombian Seabass (in contrast to the Chilean variety) does not enjoy cold water. Thus the switch from the west coast to Florida is positive, imo.

    Therefore, I will have more.
