I’m gonna send Grayson Murray an angry tweet. Actually can use those extra 2 points he would have scored.

Did he just quit or was he injured?

He missed 11 inch putt and WD. He would have to be greviously injured to miss that so it’s possible he has a serious injury

How can Andrew Putnam play this course for three rounds and only get 6 birdies and 1 eagle?

Some positive regression is coming today.

  • shadowchap1978

Such a crapshoot today for showdown.

I thought the same thing… maybe he is due or he is just having a bad week. Good luck… definitely worth a flier for gpp.

Trying to figure out how optimistic my TJ Vogel pick is for the Showdown today. He’s pretty streaky but I think the guy has massive ambition to make it on the Tour.

Gonna roll the dice on him

Course is about to get hammered with rain. Will most likely delay the start, but should really soften it up. 1/2-1” likely

  • titanhawks

First tee time is 9:23 central and PGA live is saying thier broadcast starts @ 7:00

I think they mean 9 am like yesterday

Going off in 3s again tomar. I like it. Gives everybody the same conditions to play in.

Can someone explain to me what the pga tour is thinking with tee times? Yesterday didn’t seem to make sense with no weather concerns. Today does with the likely 3+ hour delay.

PGA tour cites back injury for the WD.

I just checked the radar and man it doesn’t look good to get this in today. The rain appears to be heavy and lightening is very likely. Doesn’t start to clear until around 12-1 est. So a 3 hour delay would push it back to an 8pm local finish which might be good enough with the sunlight. Looks like we might actually get to watch everyone play assuming GC and cbs keeps their coverage window and then GC picks up the finish.

Can someone explain to me what the pga tour is thinking with tee times? Is there some large concern about the weather? Rain? There’s no reason to group them up in threes without legit weather concerns imo. Doesn’t matter that it’s a central time zone and tv coverage ends at 6. That’s the networks fault for poor judgement. This thing will be ending after 5pm local time. It’s almost like they’re saying this isn’t a legit tournament since it’s not giving it a prime time finish. Also frustrates me that the guys in last get a late tee time.

There are heavy storms about to move through and storms building back to the west.

I get today but yesterday seemed fine. If they move up tee times and do groups of three they should adjust the tv coverage

Have a Leishman, Walker, Na, CH3, Sabbatini lineup in the top 150 with only Putnam weighing me down!

It will depend on whether the storms out west hold together. If they do, it could be afternoon before things clear up.

I would say one hr is being conservative as that is a long line of rain headed toward the area although the heavy red/yellow lines appear to be breaking up as they move north.

So in the $2 chip shot I sit in 2nd, 4th, and 13th. Spots 6-12 only have 5/6 that made the cut. All of mine have 6/6. I have zero Wise and the guy in first who’s up 8 has Wise and Leishman so he’s getting double first place points right now. I have Grace Mitchell Scott Howell Sabbs Mats and V. Taylor as my main differences and of course no Wise. Please root for these guys today. Would really love to win one. Can’t help but think I have a chance to finish all three top 5 but after last week when I had two in the top 8 going into Sunday and none finish top 10, I know not to get my hopes up. I assume that two golfers can’t both finish with 1st place points right? That would mean if Wise loses the lead I would jump into first for the time being.
