Basically the same thing that happened last week with Rory being the class of the field, although at least last week there was solid course history to back it up. Personally I would fade Brooks if playing 1-3 lineups as I think he’ll be more focused on getting tuned up for the PGA title defense and it’s his first crack at this course. If you’re playing a bunch of lineups then by all means get some Brooks in there but I would still probably go underweight since he’s likely gonna be quite chalky.

    Yeah sound advice Dunz.
I am rolling single entry this week. Have to really weigh my options on Brooks and roster construction but at the moment, leaning fade and loading up around Mitchell and the second wave of contenders

Am I playing with fire by playing Ryan Palmer? Coming off a win, albeit a team win, he does get a two year exemp on tour and maybe will feel freed up and go on well.
Or we could see a winners hangover, which is often the case

Might be going heavy on the Euro player this week. Thunderbear, Noren, Bjerregard, RCB, Pieters, Knox are all priced in mid-$8K. Also all priced below Kevin Na.

Just an FYI, we have received a ton of rain the past few weeks and still more to come this week. Course will be playing very soft and should be playing longer than intended.

    Doug Ghim time?

  • Jeddy3

This is a weather wave course, right? Or is it just always windy regardless of draw?

So it’s my week for Beat The Forum. Just posted a range of options $1, $3, $5, $10 & $20. I didn’t prevent anyone from picking up multiple contests but I’d prefer if you just take one contest until Wednesday night giving everyone a chance and after that I’d anyone wants to scoop the rest feel free.

Great now I have to defend my #1 position in the happy meal. so much pressure

I’ve had a few weeks now of having a ticket “PGA 2019 FGWC $33 Qualifier Ticket” and yet I haven’t seen anywhere to play it – anyone know what this is or where I can play it?

    It’s for this. https://www.draftkings.com/lp/2019-fantasy-golf-world-championship

There is a $33 this week paying 4 spots if you want to jump in, I think they’ve been having a $33 run each week.

Weird, when I reserve the $33, it just takes my $33 and doesn’t show the ticket as an option.
But in my tickets section all of the other tickets show up accounted for – but this one remains unused.

Champ and Howell really screwed me last week.

I’m going back on the Nick Taylor train. I guess that means Howell is winning.

Maybe it’s a qualifier qualifier ticket? Like you have to play a $33 that’s a qualifier for a $300 or $900 ticket for a bigger qualifier event? Seems odd if that’s the case but it is DK.

Just opened up the EURO Betfred British Masters Happy Meal (yes, that’s it’s actual name). Despite the goofy name, it is actually a very good EURO event with Fleetwood hosting the event. It’s being hosted at a golf club close to Royal Birkdale (sometime host of the Open).

yeah, maybe – don’t know, I messaged their support to ask – thanks

They told me they fixed, but they didn’t – it now shows as free no matter what I do, but doesn’t use the ticket, and charges me.

I have the same issue, For this week I’m sitting on 6 of the $33 tickets and 2 of the $260’s.

It seems like it takes them a day after posting the contest to link the tickets – last week by mid-day Tuesday I was able to use my ticket. On the app you’ll see a little ticket on the contest in the lobby when you can use it.

I reamed out a guy in customer service because I have no problem using my Milly tickets 3 weeks in advance but can’t use these.

You can try a chat with support to say that you have tickets for a contest that is posted but you cannot use them yet.

I went back and forth with support a few times and it wasn’t working – then they finally seemed to get it working.
As a side effect, I am entered into this qualifier a few times now, but I am okay with that (I paid for the extras).
No clue what caused it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just used one of my tickets – it took the ticket via the DK App correctly for me.

Of course they only did the $33 and I still can’t use my $260 tickets 🙄

What is the Presidential Medal of Freedom?

The award was established by President John F. Kennedy, in 1963, to recognize “any person who has made an especially meritorious contribution to (1) the security or national interests of the United States, or (2) world peace, or (3) cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”

As a unilateral power of the executive branch, presidents have broad discretion to choose recipients. But presidents often use the award for political purposes – to gain positive media attention, shape their legacy or reward their supporters.
