And Taylor doubles the easiest hole on the course…at least Kang is holding up in some wind.

  • Dewoc19

BIF, what do you see in Nick Taylor, everytime I’ve rostered this dude he MC, he is terrible…. double on the driveable par 4… 54 yards took him 5 shots. I just dont get the Nick Taylor love other than being Canadian. He is gonna sink both my lineups this week

  • sneaksox

At least Nick bounced back with a nice shot. Pick up another here and call it even I guess…

Yeah that’s great and all, but he should really be at least -2 I dont like to think “oh this guy should be -6 but he made 4 bogies” but that double should have been a birdie. He was in the fairway 54 yards out and disnt even hit his 2nd shot on the green, then chunked his 3rd. You have to be intentionally trying not to hit the green from that short of a distance on his 2nd shot. Even if he finishes the day at Even, he needs to shoot -4 tomorrow to make the cut more than likely. Only 35/155 guys shot -4 or better, that’s 22%. That’s a tall ask tomorrow if you ask me

No swearing in rants anymore I take it?!

  • Dunzor

Ugh freaking schenk, I’ve got 5 guys at a collective -20 and then Schenk and the worst part is the team had Merritt on it instead as of last night and I tinkered him out cause of the wet course and wanting a longer hitter

I’m not allowed to drop the F bomb anymore per the mod. What’s the point in cursing if you cant drop the F bomb

  • sneaksox

I agree Nick is terrible today. He’s been a decent value play most of the year though…been stuck in 50th range recently but he was top 30 for most of the early season. I’m going down with him too though so he’d better come out firing tomorrow…he usually doesn’t fall apart until Sunday.

If i hadnt subbed him in for tony romo id be winning the happy meal… instead I’m in for third place

  • sneaksox

Well thanks for that stab on the way out Taylor…

  • Dewoc19

And Taylor now officially done, he is garbage. Both lineups are dead cause of him, see yall next week

  • fsupete01

I know its tongue n cheek and you know it was a question asked not told. Also you will find out tomorrow that Romo’s 12 Fpts with an chip in eagle, will fall below Piller’s total who currently has 10 Fpts. So Your welcome.

tony romo is beating 2 players on my team. I need to just quit!

Me too – I have one lineup with both Leishman and DJ Trahan aka the Dynamic WD Duo

Nice to have 216 Holes remaining after the 1st round 🙄

He hasn’t missed a cut in 14 weeks so I guess you haven’t played him in a while and has made 10 of his last 12 cuts overall so that’s pretty good at 7K.

If I remember that hole correctly, the green is elevated and the pin today was cut pretty tight to the side so he may have hit that 2nd shot a foot short of where it needed to be and it ran down the slope then didn’t get the next one up the slope. It’s easy to do if you are playing aggressive and trying to make bird and hit it close.
    Shit happens dude.

Just got home from playing golf – if they kept track of my SGP today, it would have been about a -5.8 🙄 Missed 1 fairway, hit 15/18 greens and shot +4.

Went through all my lineups – gonna need some help tomorrow – have a lot of lineups sitting 5/6 right now that need Tway, Reed, Im, Henley, Swafford and Wyndham Clark to push me up to a 6/6. Otherwise I think I have 2/50 LUs with all 6 at -2 or better. Having 28% Leishman didn’t help ! Gonna be a losing week unless a lineup goes off so just trying to grind something out and recover 25-50% hopefully. The part that sucks is I also wasted a $260 ticket and 3 $33 tickets on lineups that have Leishman WD not to mention a bunch of $25 cash entries on satty’s for $555 tickets.

My saving grace this week might be my H2H LU as it needs Reed -1 and Henley Even to push it to a 6/6 as the other guys are -5, -5, -4 and -3.

Hello fellas, new to the forum….to preface my question I just wanted to add that I appreciate all of the helpful comments and insight that I have silently observed following this forum for about a month now. I have learned alot from many of you about the intricacies of golf and the world of DFS Golf as a whole. Regarding my question… I believe someone posted about finding ownership percentages of golfers that you personally do not own. His question was quickly answered, but his was concerning Draftkings. Does anyone know where you can find the ownership percentages of golfers on Fanduel for a particular tournament?

Good Friday Morning & YAY GOLF

DTG Leishman ownership 22%! So 78% of entries eligible for a 6/6, and that is not counting Trahan.
6/6 must be a lock on the money line this week I am thinking.

Last week I was profitable, but the J Blixt Friday meltdown cost me a lot of $$, still went back to him this week (not as much)as I have learned that sometimes the reasons you play a golfer can carry over to the next week. Really learned that last week when I faded Dufner after playing him heavily the tournament he played in before. Now I always review the previous weeks player pool.

Koepka looks good, I think the guy throws up four solid under par rounds to be T5 for sure, while others struggle to be consistent. When you watched him tee off on one (caught it in the pro shop at the course), you could tell he was rusty, but got better as the day went on. The guys demeanor is perfect for golf.

Had one Leishman entry and it has Adam Schenk thank goodness, throw it away and flush!

Have one line up that is -18 all under par and sits at 49,916 so there’s your proof it is a birdie fest out there.

Biggest disappointments for me yesterday – Seamus Power +1, CHIII +1, Hank Lebioda +3

    played one Showdown today…

    B. Koepka
    R. Sabbatini
    Bud Cauley
    C.T. Pan
    Sung Kang
    Brian Gay

Good Luck today Y’all, may your 6/6 be abundant, have a great sweat.

Putting is my strong suit, you want me on your scramble team for the putting trust me. My fade reared its ugly head off the tee yesterday though, after I had it worked out, so I thought. Shot a smooth 92 with just 5 fairways. I’m happy with it though, considering I couldn’t play last year until the fall because I was in PT for 4 months learning to walk again. Short game feel keeps getting better with every round as I get out to the course more and more.

Anyone interested in playing in the MD area this summer?

Fan Duel does nothing for the user other than provide a more extensive listing of the entrants in a contest when you look at where you sit so you have to scroll and look at a pile of lineups to find the ownerships you are interested in.

For each contest, DK has a .csv file you can download an look at which provides everyone’s lineup plus all the ownership of each player. Alternatively some websites publish the DK ownerships as well.

Another site of interest on Fridays is Cutsweats.com where you can see how the 6/6% is shaping up for this week. They have some pay features but that chart is free and updated every 20 minutes.
