He and Spencer Levin used to be next door neighbors, both really nice guys.

Levin was a chain smoking douche – your comment was honestly the first positive thing I have ever heard anyone say about him.

Spieth, Scheffler and Will Z are playing together; guessing that’s one of the feature groups 🙄

Are your Pegs going to take out the Leafs?

Need to beat McJesus and the Oilers first….which has proven tough for us the second half of the season. Our goal scoring has dried up since Ehlers went down so it’ll be tough to win a series unless our goalie stands on his head.

I thought the season was completed, but it’s not. I’ll post NHL at the same time next week.

1+1 doesn’t really =2 for me here boys…Palmer/Zalatoris touting length, yet Vegas (not Jhonny) doesn’t necessarily agree…

Bunch of AARP old heads got them hefty price tags…DK algos having difficulty adjusting to a new course? I’m not quite so sure…

Kooch the Mooch opened -140 over Feast Mitchell (albeit bet down to -120)
Alex “280 yard” Noren -120 over Belgium Bomber Pieters
    ChuckSticks -140 over PKizzy

Seems to me they know something we don’t know….maybe chicks DONT dig the long ball?

Wolff WD already from PGA Champ. He didn’t want to embarrass himself.

Edit: I guess I was a little late on this, but still something funny about him.

TPC San Antonio is not one I’d call easy

Yea, I don’t know why my site considers it easy. I can filter for easy/medium/hard scoring difficulty. Yet, it’s 10th in this list, although this is only one year:

Oopsies. I never got around to checking form and C.H. So I’m rolling with my default lineup.

I think the distance angle is vastly overrated this week. All the par 5s and the driveable par 4s are birdie opportunities for the whole field. Most players should be able to reach all par 5s in 2.

I’m sticking with SG-APP and SG-ATG for the most part this week. Also guys who play well in Texas.

I like Palmer a lot even though his ATG is trash. He’s just so good on par 5s.

  • byo34

Yeah when the par 5s are all reachable and there are some short par 4s it brings the entire field into play. There are enough holes to take advantage of where they just need to “survive” the longer holes. Especially with some long par 3s, precision, putting and ARG comes into play on those holes more than power.

Birdie fests are usually always a mixed bag of players at the top of the leaderboard. I’m not saying fade bombers, but I don’t think you have to be afraid of the Kuchars of the world and those alike.

We got a ton of rain last weekend into yesterday, the course probably got 1-2”+ of rain yesterday alone, with about a 30% chance of more today. It’s going to be soft out there. Usually makes courses play longer with less runout, probably favors the bombers for the longer par 4’s.

Also, keep your eye out for Sunday, pretty good chance of storms on Sunday afternoon and more forecasted for Monday. Wouldn’t be surprised to see tee times moved up on Sunday if the current forecast holds.

I’ll have Matt Kuchar in one of my cores. (Trying to set 20 lineups now before some of the contests I want to put them in fill.)

From what I’m reading (everyone caveats that it’s a new venue save for KFT back in 2012 and 2008, so they’re all just guessing), stats to focus on are GIR, putting, and form in Texas events.

So…is Russell Knox really this bad at putting? (-.375 SG: Putting, 181st)

Pool for me is looking smaller than normal so might get back to MME this week also only have 1 ticket o maybe I can snag a few.

Gonna also have some guys I haven’t rostered for a while too. I think this is going to be a “fun” one.

A chalktastic start to the English Masters with Mattias Chalk and Chalk Hill at 1-2

And on the other hand, Bison DeShampoo has been great with the flat stick. But a complete moron with his approach shots. Also he’s expensive as usual.

Another funny thing…he’s from Texas (made a couple round trips last week!) but he’s not been great in his home state.

Wondering what the fairway width and rough is going to be like – other than wind, that is the only defense here.

Looks pretty easy to get up and down around the greens with soft(er) conditions and zoysia grass. Players will be able to be more aggressive firing at tucked pins off they think they can get it up and down.

Didn’t see it mentioned but during Spieth’s month off since The Masters, he got Covid and was sick for a couple weeks; additionally he said he went on a vacation too so has really only just started playing/practicing again the last week.

Considering his price and this info, that makes me much more hesitant to use him.
    Thanks as always BIF.
