How do peeps feel about Matt Jones this week? Been playing well, time to hop off? Or ride or die with him. Just looking for a cut maker.

M.J. was already a fine choice based on course history. Pebble Beach tee time on Thursday makes it even better. I won’t fade.

P.S. I get the other reference above, Maverick McNealy. No problemo him, either.

Actually, I wish they would all wear NASCAR type suits with patches all over of the special interests and companies they take bribes…err donations from.
At least then we would know who they are really working for.

    yes, yes, yes

I usually only play 1-3 lineups, but this week I’m going to play 20 lineups for the fun of it. Only putting them in the quarter jukebox, dime time and satties for milly tickets.

My strategy is to get drunk tonight while doing my lineups. Yea that should work.

Streelman is supposed to be chalk? Just saw the Tour Junkies chalk bomb. I was only planning on a tiny little piece of him. He also starts on SH.

Streelman, Varner and Day chalk…no thanks.

I feel like I need some more Harman in my life.

Was so looking forward to this event because of the lack of pro-am, now IDK. The good news is I only have to make 6 lineups. The bad news is I feel like I can’t avoid stepping in dog poop.
Think I’ll come at it from an angle that is sure to be unique. Going to use scrambling from the rough stat as a cornerstone.

    Welcome to the jungle, Steverino01!

You have identified my current process. Although I usually get crazy and put all 20 iin the 50 cent mini-max or else one of the 20-max dollar things (or maybe the $3 thing, if I like it a lot).

Yes to all. But he checks all my main things. Wait, how many of those things are there? Only two: form and CH.

I will have some lineups without him in case he bombs.

To add to the weirdness of this tournament, according to Bob Bolton, Pebble will play 235 yards longer (across 11 holes) than when amateurs have played in the past, meaning Pebble might be harder than we think even if the weather is fine.

Day has moved up as the week has progressed, but he’s still not at the level of Cantlay, Zalatoris or Berger (at least according to RG projections).

  • noddy

I don’t play the ownership game, but Si Woo seems awfully low owned this week.

  • taford14

    Winner: Can’t Putt
    Fade: Day
    Sleeper: Michael Thompson

He’s hot in California and will keep it going

That;s because SWK’s celery is too damn high!

(Which does lower ownership, it’s nature.)

Surprised bergers ownership is projected that high with him burning people last week. I almost picked him as my oad this week but have since moved off.

All three of the chalk have high SG scrambling from rough ratings.

I can’t find the tweet anymore (sorry). But one of things that Jason Day said he liked about this tournament was the longer rounds. When this is a Pro-Am the rounds run about six hours. He said with the amateurs playing it gives him more time to calculate shots and read greens. He said sometimes when they are playing two ball on the weekends in other tournaments it can feel rushed.

After reading that, I have come down from my 60% ownership of Day for this week. That and the cooler temperatures with a guy that has back/WD problems.

    Edit: found it.

It is a quote from 2018 though.

Marchand needs to throw some hands. I think its been a little while for him and he’s best when scrappy.
