Just bring it home bogey-free and that’ll help

    Down 9.15 points in showdown.

    Phil vs Casey left.

Need Casey to go bogey par and Phil to.go par birdie. Or Phil birdies both or eagles 18.

Phil gets 5 for bogey free (assuming no bogies on 17-18) so you just need 1 more bird than Casey coming in

Thanks to all that played the #beattheforum H2Hs this week – my 4/6 was strong with 1st Phil, T7 Streelman and T7 Gay (plus some guy named DJ who barely cracked the Top 50).

Barring a Phil collapse in the morning, it looks like I’ll go 32-3 this week (that includes the one H2H sent directly to me from Jam outside the RG League). Congrats to reeb, kswetnam and jclem for defending the forum and preventing a sweep.

Casey never finished 16 so if he makes his 3 footer for par id lose by like 1.2 points if he went par par and Phil makes a par and a bogey.

Hoping he misses the 3 footer he should have just attempted today.

Oh yah – forgot he hasn’t tapped in yet.

Well, Scott Piercy’s scoring is wrong. He’s getting credit for 7th and 10th (which is like 10 extra FPs or so since he should only get credit for 10th). Michael Thompson is also getting credit for 10th and 11-15th. I’m betting all those guys who went from 11-15th to 10th when Piercy made bogey’s scoring is wrong.

I think it’ll be fixed like NBA is by the time it’s over, but the real time scoring is kind of off if you have like Piercy or Thompson or anyone in that 7-15th range that finished well before Piercy (so not like Brian Gay).

Nice lineup BIF. Thought my 5/6 would work out better than that. At least we both took Gay.

Looks like the forum challenge is more even this year with the “victims” winning this year.

You can include Chris Stroud in that group….sux for me as I own all three players and some of my teams have two of them..ugh….

I mostly dodged that mess as I have a bunch of Piercy but only one cashing lineup with him so I’ll drop one pay level for $10 in one contest but have none of the others so may get the $10 back elsewhere.

Really stinks for the people who have Piercy, Stroud and Thompson and on top of the leaderboard. Several teams at top of contests have Piercy…

    Btw..nice win in the dogleg!

On a side note..still waiting for nascar payouts…I went 4x entry fees today…been five hrs since ending….

I played a line in Nascar and it was looking horrible all damn day. Turned my 8.00 into 20.00 with the big one at the end. phew!

Nice catch and it Looks like you’ll win the Dogleg (instead of 2nd place) barring a Casey massive collapse – I’m guessing you were winning before easily then said WTF when all those guys got extra points….

Yea thanks Coop. The guy who’s currently 1st in the Dogleg should be aware he will lose those placement points though unless he wasn’t following along at the end. I think he should have realized once Piercy made a bogey, he actually jumped like 10 extra FPs for getting the double placement. At least I definitely realized it because I was wondering how he jumped ahead of me all of a sudden and why I had a 4th place team too (since that one has Piercy, that’ll drop).

The NBA is a bit more annoying I guess because it’s not super obvious when it’s like 2 steals vs 4 steals, etc. so when the stat correction hits, even if you were following along, you might not have realized what happened (like in the placement, it’s obvious the guys are getting like 7th and 10th in their scoring).

That’s how you play nascar at Daytona nd Dega….your lineups stink for 75-80% of the race then you get the wrecks..as long as you played the numbers right you are guaranteed to finish well since so many people don’t understand the basic math in these contests….

Nba is quite more annoying…steals are subjective to the scorekeepers along with blocks and rebounds to a certain extent while in golf it’s pretty obvious how the scoring should be…although between yesterdays Day debacle and today’s issues DK seems to be having scoring issues which shouldn’t be hard to get correct in the first place unlike nba….
