How is Patrick Reed 8300? Him, an 11k guy, and a bunch of 7k guys sounds like a great lineup to me this week.

He’s not coming into the tournament with the best of form evident by his +5 on Sunday.

If people aren’t going to play Reed because of one bad round, sign me up then.

This was interesting from last weekend.

Kevin Na, Kyle Stanley and Shane Lowry each gained over 10 strokes T2G and lost 4+ Shots Putting

Stanley was 2nd to Hideki in T2G and lost 9 shots putting – that is an insanely bad week putting when you hit it so good. With an average putting week, Stanley finishes Top 3-4

DK’s pricing is perfect to get many new players to play golf. It also makes you want to enter many lineups because there are so many different ways to go. Maybe they aren’t as dumb as some people think they are.

How many LUs does Pat Perez end up on at $7300?

Not many considering he WD last week due to injury

I was very high on Stanley last week, super huge let down, I just cringed every time he got onto the vreen, if he even putted remotely decently like you said I would have had a much better week

Lowry killed me. All those 5, 4 and TWO footers. He missed multiple 2 footers. I usually just move on to the next hole when I see a 2 footer left.

Last year’s scoring averages by Course

    Pebble 72.498 +0.498 to Par 72

    Spyglass 72.506 +0.506 to Par 72

    MPCC Shore 70.699 -0.301 to Par 71

The score needed to make the cut swings wildly from one year to the next and is usually rain/wind dependent.

This event is unique in that it is only the Low 60 & ties get to play the Final Round on Sunday at Pebble but technically the Top 70 & ties make the cut for official stat purposes, earning Fed EX points and a pay check.

Last year you needed -1 (214) to play Sunday and Even Par (215) got you a MDF. In 2015, you needed to be a crazy low -7 (208) to play Sunday at Pebble. In 2014, Even Par (215) was good enough to play Sunday.

When do the tee times get announced? I was reading on another site that said:

“It’s not good news really: rain has been forecast quite readily for Thursday and Friday, with the heaviest downpours expected on Thursday afternoon. Temperatures are cool and winds are expected to touch 15 mph.

But then things are expected to improve in time for the weekend, according to the early forecasts. Saturday will be sunny and less gusty, with Sunday following a similar pattern.

As such, a draw advantage could exist for those playing Monterey early on Thursday morning and then Pebble Beach on the more settled Saturday; keep an eye out for that.”

    Tee times announcement ?
Usually Tuesday late afternoon/early evening but each event is a little different.

A few low priced guys I like this week: Spaun, Matt Jones, Brett Colletta. Something I read on Colletta (the guy at the very bottom of the list to pick from). PGA Tour debut, 5 for 6 with a win and 2 top 10’s on the Australasia Tour. Spieth is my main guy this week with Snedeker a close 2nd.

    GL this week.

How in the hell can Mike Wier be higher priced than anyone?

He hasn’t made a cut in 15 years.

  • QSchoolDropOut

Seriously, Mike Weir and Steve Stricker are the same prices.

So, these prices are created by a computer. Does a real human being look at these prices?

  • regns08

draftkings is a complete joke, 150+ player field and lowest salary is 6400? you gotta let me fly.

Smallest greens on tour. This will be a phun week

Striker sucks here, they get their rankings from Las Vegas sports book. Now tell me that those guys have no clue what they are doing.

Hey guys, I’m an awful PGA DFS player, but I’ve been around a while and love playing. I’ve also read these threads for quite some time and always wondered what the heck was going on with DK leagues. I guess I skipped or missed JimK explanation posts. I’d like in, always looking to add to community aspect of DFS and these DK leagues sound fun. I’d appreciate an add/invite. Thanks!

Should be zero, but people are terrible at DFS, if he hasnt formally WD before the beginning of the round i’m saying 4% in the Birdie

At first given the expected conditions I thought that an early Thursday tee time at Spyglass would be more of an advantage, but I can definitely see the advantage of playing Pebble on the more settled Saturday. Plus Pebble is always fun to play on Saturday because of the crowd and the 17th hole analysis. So, I can definitely see where the advantage would lie in playing Monterey on Thursday.
