    Any initial thoughts on pricing?

  • jsw3ent

I guess the huge opening day million $$$ purses are a thing of the past====or was that only football ? Maybe the purses are/seem less because of all the legal/state issues. I liked the chance to win 100k on a 2-5-10 $ entry——I never won one but I loved the shot. The purses look about the same as the every day NBA slates. Now if we can get the innings remaining on the ( view by entries ) page—then we wouldn’t have to toggle back to the view by line-ups page====we will be set.

Pricing seems soft but it’s opening day, I’m sure it will get tighten up after the first week or 2

Agreed. I feel like I threw together a very solid lineup with minimal thought to pricing.

I set lineups last night from my laptop. 4/4 was the only option. I was surprised there were no 4/3 games.

They will post it but 4/3 has 3 games. Don’t think they’ll have as big contests.

Pricing is beyond awful here imo. Pricing on batters is just absurd considering they put the minimum on batters down to 2K from the original 2.2K and there seems like soft pricing across the board at all batters imo.

hopefully it will tighten up after a week or two.

Hopefully, but it took FD over a month last year to even get Coors pricing adjusted.

It parallels the everyone gets a trophy society—-the lower test scores so people can pass society—-the rules against defense to help offense society. The elimination of minus scoring, and soft salaries, are designed to keep the juice flowing—-but eliminates the strategic planning—and takes most of the fun out of playing. The sites want everyone to tie for 1st place. They think if a newbie busts out that he/she won’t reload—-but they underestimate the will of the player to play. They will reload. It is getting to the point where people can just pick all the studs—-no thinking required. What’s next, no minus scoring for fumbles—interceptions or turnovers in basketball——-or bogeys in golf —SMH.

Is it just me or is the salary cap showing up as 35,000, 3,889 per player for anyone else?

Its opening day for gods sake. The prices started off way soft last year and were super high by years end.

By the way. Shit just got real when I saw that MLB games were posted on fan duel. I can’t wait for this season to start.
