Behind the Bets Podcast ESPN – Talks DFS

Really interesting podcast that was posted today. What do you guys think?

Didn’t really like the guy (the guest, not Chad), it was clear he was not intimately knowledgeable of DFS with the terms he used.

Despite that, some decent points were made. Mostly that DFS is this clever niche where it gets treated differently legally from sports betting and poker. That is, if DFS is legal and judged to be a #skillgame, then sports betting and poker need to be too.

    My analysis:
Isn’t the counter to this argument that as DFS gets larger and larger it may get interpreted as legalized sports betting (tbh you can argue it already is) and will be changed to get treated as such, legally speaking?

Cool to see DFS on an ESPN podcast. Thought the ending of the podcast was great.
