Fed Ex Cup Playoffs – stop #3 on the road to the Fed Ex Cup for the remaining 70 players is the BMW Championship played this year at Crooked Stick GC near Indianapolis (the BMW was last played here in 2012).

Very quick turnaround for the successful qualifiers as we go back to the normal Thursday-Sunday tournament and there is NO CUT this week as it is only 70 players (likely only 69 as Stenson has said he won’t play to rest for the Tour Championship which he is not a lock yet to qualify for and also rest for the Ryder Cup).

Baseball blows right now. I couldn’t make a good pick If I could see the box score ahead of time of the games I pick. About ready to kill someone.

Yeah Baseball in general is really tough on me this year. Last year was so different in terms of outcomes in DFS.
This year even I have scored real high just a few times. Usually its $6 f^ing bucks or just outside the money line.

Maybe I would get more RG’ers if I made the contests $3 or less?
Please RG’ers chime in on your own opinion. Would you like to see it $3-$2-$1?
Would that get more people playing?

Been quiet as still licking my wounds from @slpanthers being mean to me….. LOL! But this week, feeling rejuvenated for some scratch! Love Dufner to shake his funk this week and Kevin Na, yup, that guy…..

Gotta agree with the other, Dufner will make you angry. He missed about 6 or 7 putts on Monday inside 8 feet any one of which would have moved every single one of my GPP lineups from on the bubble outside the cash into a min cash. I don’t wish that on anyone. From a movie I saw flipping channels recently, Dufner fits the definition of a DUFF (designated ugly fat friend), just avoid him especially in this no cut event where you need birdies.

I’m the opposite, I either score 150+ or 75 points, it is either 4x+ my investment or zero. I bet I’ve won $20-$25 on the $3 GPP’s at least 20 times but that is usually my ceiling except for a $150 cash a few weeks back (7 HR’s will really help despite negative points from one of your pitchers).

I usually only play 1-2 days a week and mostly Mon-Wed as there is no golf.

I am glad someone is here.
I think it doesnt help me when I just play the large GPP’s. 1-3 bullets. H2H I think I am ahead a little. If I am its only a little.
I dont spend the research time like I used to and the Jays team as a whole were a lot more reliable for multiple HR games.
    “I bet I’ve won $20-$25 on the $3 GPP’s at least 20 times “
That is an accomplishment alone as we both know how many points it takes to get even to there in large GPP.

Decided to go back to my best two lineups from last week and see if it worked to do those lineups. Very close and have 2 of my lineups locked and loaded. Gotta be a good strategy I would think.

It’s funny, people say MLB is impossible after the all star break as all the Sharks have chased away the casual players but I’ve had better results in last 2 months

You have to resist playing the same guys night after night – that was an issue for me last year as all these guys go thru hot and cold streaks. If I could ever get two pitchers to line up with good results on the same day, I’d be fine. Also, I’ve become a big fan of the weather info from Kevin Roth and his wind direction maps; those two things have saved me from playing guys from rain outs/delays and shortened games plus have been able to nail a few big wind-aided HR nights. I rode Starlin Castro to a few of those a couple weeks ago.

This week will be tough, barring a bunch of bottom salary guys being near the top we will need 6 guys in Top 15-20 with the winner and likely 2nd and/or 3rd place finisher as well for a good cash.

Plus some DK point-wise out performing middle finishers with lots of birds/bogey combinations

You mentioned before about being wary of Colorados field/altitude and I took advantage of that a number of time with some visiting sluggers.
I am guilty of playing Jays too much but their my team and I accept those loses. I watch almost every game for many many years and when they click its pretty fun. I dont bet all of them every night. Its not an automatic blanket foolish bet. Still I error on the side of loyalty bets. Like when Travis was really hot a month ago. The same time Saunders was, or Martin right now. Encarcion and Bautista are a little cooler right now. Bautista seems to have lost a little of his power overall and that concerns me.

I look at the history ive seen and the players with more experience have good numbers at this stage of the year and at Indianapolis. Many of them are not on form. Some of the bubble boys have been playing there asses off. the guys like dufner lefty bubba DJ ZJ Na ……..really need to play well this weekend.

So the experienced vs the hungry?? Im loaded on experience. thats my dice roll for the weekend
    Have faith in the proven….

Because I don’t play many lineups (usually 3 or 4), I hate Coors field slates as I feel like I have to have some exposure on one or two which limits what I can do with the others. It can work for you and against you, I just don’t like it – probably because they usually play a 2-1 game when I stack and 12-11 when I don’t. Truth

The last and only time I wrapped all my teams around a sure thing was DJ at the PGA. ( Baltusrol ) Never again

Apparently he broke his driver right before that tourney and it probably messed him up for the weekend. I wouldnt say never again on a bombers course with the longest hitter and the best prox. on tour…

Wonder if I can duplicate my MLB results from yesterday’s .25 arcade. Was sitting at #3 spot for quite awhile. Ended up 75th or some shit, just a bit of a pay difference but that was my best baseball lineup yet

    Jim I entered the $10 50/50 league.
Didnt know if it was for all or just a group of buddies.

So duf has had woman troubles as I reported about a month ago and now over it. He looked stinky missing those putts last week but he is due. In gpps, could be difference maker.

C’mon Shamrock77s SERIOUSLY!!!??? Yesterday it was a TV Dinner “DARBY SWANSON”. Today its RYON HEALY, another No Name generic brand of soup who just happens to hit his 7 HR IN 48 games this season!
Now seriously where do you come up with these?
Are you a part time Voodoo Witch Doctor?
Are you throwing bones? GOOD GRIEF MAN.

6000 spots in the dogleg still, 10000 in the hybrid, and the driving range is only half full.

Not much talk about Euro. Seems like a lot of good looking LU’s can be put together.
A small 20k Birdie might have an overlay. All Overlays needs to have a close eye on them as their seems to be a ton of them in every sport and contest.

  • QSchoolDropOut

OK I just deposited 30 bucks and am making all my lineups to include one player. I play the 3 dollar games.

This is a total feel player.

All I have is instinct. No stats.

If this doesn’t work, I will rethink my strategy.

HINT: It’s a player who is about medium price….

    Who am I thinking of?????????????

  • walkoff9

For once I don’t have to put dummy lineups in. Only thing close to filled is the 1k Clubhouse.
