Its partly for NFL but mostly because no cut events are straight throwing dice and no one really puts much effort in it.

That is the exact reason to play this week – I’m in. Next week, I will probably cut back or sit out or focus on Euro now that I have a little more confidence there

  • Frustrated

Yeah no cut events are pretty much DFL. Never excited about them save for the WGC-HSBC because we get night golf which is always fun to watch after a whole day of college football. Other wise no real sweat for no cut events as Thursday and Friday aren’t all that interesting. I just got one bullet this week if it hits great if not meh not a big deal.

Hey The Road to Atlanta H2H tournament (Double Elimination) is down to the last 2 people. JK1492 and Dewok19 play for the Win this week.
Dewoc19 has not lost a match all contest. If he wins, He gets the crown. JK1492 must slug it out for 2 consecutive winning weeks to claim the chamionship.

So if you want to check upon what happened (Just in case you were out by week 3 or you missed it) Go to the thread and the spreadsheet bracket is linked.

Spieth and Rose go from there. My placeholder with that used all the salary. Lots of interesting combos. I say that every week but that’s the fun.

This week, I am prepared to bury the f’ing hatchet, I have on PURPOSE put Charley Hoffman in a lineup to prevent myself from bashing his name the whole weekend. In no way am I advising it for anyone else, but I’m going turn the other cheek method on him. On the plus side, since I do have him in a lineup he is a lock to return to 2016 charley hoffman form and that means my main lineup has no fear of him beating me, win win!

No cut events are like weekend events. This should hopefully set up well for me.

First time in a very long time I’ve got Phil in my lineups. Hopefully he can build some momentum from auto-making the President’s Cup team.

wow this place dies when NFL season starts huh?

Yah and the next 2 events are small field no cut events so not much fantasy appeal.

I’m playing exactly 2 $5 GPP lineups and about a third of my normal H2H volume. Next week will be even less action for me unless I have a dream about a $7500 player winning in Atlanta.

A very good hole in one golfer.

Thanks to Kyle Gibson and Brian Dozier, I will be praying at the 20 max LU EURO shrine today

NFL is too hard. I kind of want to give up after week 1. There was huge overlay and I still was down lol. I guess I shouldn’t have gone with 80% Le’Veon Bell and then filled out the rest of my roster with scrubs who actually performed like scrubs (Kendall Wright).

  • tristanwolf

lol after riding him all year to some success, i am off charley ho this week. and i am back on the phil train to a small % maybe 15. loving justin rose after btb 10ths, but who knows.

Was not playing Jason day this week but just read he will have a new caddy on bag this week. Just saw a tweet which didn’t say why the change. Tough year for the caddies this year.

FYI, the course this year will play different from previous two tourneys here. Those tourneys played with a wet course. This week will be fast and firm. Look for the rough to come into play more often than in previous years. Scoring will still be fairly easy but don’t expect anyone to go -20. Winning score more likely to be -12 to -15 with the different conditions.
