I saw this first thing in the morning without coffee, So many replies came to mind, but thankfully I passed it by without a reply at the time. I assume its a joke, but “the paranoid” in me said WTF.
Have I noticed you in the minimax? YES, I even highlighted your picks, On several occasions, I calculated your loss/profit and ROI on the contest. It could even be said, I looked at your LU construction.
I did this on player names I recognize. You just happen to be one of many. I compared my LU’s with many, LU construction is about Salary, personal picks, and results. I thought maybe there was something to learn in the review.
EDIT: and what did I learn. MME (multiple maximum entry) is not the smartest way to play DFS. I enjoy the multiple entry, I love it …in fact. but the law of diminishing returns can be applied. I don’t know at what point. 20 entries is too small IMHO. 150 entries should not be played all weeks. Where the limit of LU’s to be made is as always a personal choice. I dont know where to draw a line. I think common sense in your LU generation is the key. Its easy for me to say because I pick a player pool and I experiment with the salaries, then I take a very systematic approach in making the LU’s by hand. Which I believe is not the norm for all of the players who MME the minimax.
Sorry, bro I meant to put in a GIF there that would’ve made it obvious it was a joke. My bad … poor attempt at humor apparently.
I actually enter 40 lineups each week, and then split my total spend on 50% cash and 50% MME as a hedge for the MME plays. Playing very small beans right now, trying to get a decent sample size for my LT ROI calculations, then if I am doing well with my current process I will move up in stakes as my bankroll (hopefully) grows. IMO, it’s really tough to win big in these low dollar MME’s, so I figure if I can get a couple big wins I will do even better in the higher dollar tourneys.
I also construct all 40 lineups by hand each week, based on a very specific process for discerning my player pool, and then a separate process for lineup construction. I then construct another, different, cash lineup that I also usually throw in the $5 or $6 MME just for fun. My cash lineup is not overly chalky, like most, so it seems to do ok in the Drive the Green or whatever $5-6 MME they have each week.
I’ve done fairly well half the weeks, and then only had one negative ROI week last week, and then probably this week as well, assuming my cash LU doesn’t cash — currently I’m only a couple places out of the cash line after today.
Anyway, good luck dude. I am gonna see how this process pays off for awhile and then adjust if necessary. I also keep a journal of each process I plan on using, how it did, and how it differs from any other processes I might use going forward.
They’re hellbent on getting the round in today as the forecast for tomorrow and Tuesday are just as bad, if not worse, than today. Fairways actually didn’t look terrible on the walk up but the area got around 2 inches of rain overnight.
Is this what I should want? I am positive on PGA, Euro I think I will cash $4 of $27 bet, PGA is about $100 of $71 bet. for a profit of $6 on $98 bet.
I started out Thursday with a few bucks and it grew on Friday, I took a big leap on Sat. If it continued in that direction, lets get these holes in. Or should I take the break even and move on. LOL a weather sweat.
NFL 3 basic team stacks – Houston, LAC, and Minn. Got a bunch of Minn and Chicago Defense and Showdown, I went out and took Graham as my capt. but no Rogers.
