It’s a really hard par 5 though. Unless you hit the perfect drive with distance + shot shape, it’s impossible to get on in 2. You can get close enough for a wedge though but that’s Xander’s weakness.
Hideki needs to calm his balls and come back to earth on the weekend. Everyone here complaining about kokrak making putts and we got the poster boy for good ball striking / bad putting out there gaining over 4 strokes putting (way more than Kokrak gained yesterday)
Dang Tony Finau….he’s also chalk in cash and he’s tearing up this course today.
This is a touts dream week.
All the bad putter/great ball strikers are lighting the course on fire.
Cantlay, Mats, kokrak, Glover it’s Chalk Tout Fest ’99 out there.
And Everyone is 20% owned.
I was DFL in the Happy Meal after Round 1. And I am still DFL lol. I hand picked this as my Happy Meal lineup from the 21 lineups I made. At least I am better at overall handicapping with a few really good lineups in my GPP’s but good lord my Happy Meal lineup is awful.
Yea for sure, as someone who has Hideki, I’ll admit he’s getting super lucky with his putting, but he’s still gained +4 SG: T2G today too. He’s probably gained SG in every category across the board.
try that again
My golfers all suck today…
Cantlay isn’t a bad putter. He’s like the only player on tour who’s possibly top 20 across every major SG category. His SG: putting is near the top this year.
Cantlay should be the favorite to win this, even 1 behind Hideki now. He’s the much better long term putter and equally good ball striker.
Niemann -2 through his first 4 and hasn’t hit any of the par fives yet….I told you to keep faith, he’s got at least one 66 or better in him, hoping it is today to set up well for the weekend
Ok someone phsyco annalyze Speith, why is he failing? You guys are good at knowing everything after the fact……
Hideki with a 30 footer for bird on 18 lol another boost to that SG: Putting
IDK, but he is my OAD because I’ve pretty much wasted everyone else, and it’s turning into a huge failure for me.
According to ST…Finau just hit his drive on 9 all the way over to my left monitor.
No eagles or streaks, but a pretty solid round.
grammar troll in the house!!! you can do better than that tho ive got so many grammar mistakes!
Lol this is gotta be Hideki’s best putting round of his life.
I just realized Sabbatini missed a 3.5 footer for birdie. Whyyyy
VT misses a 5-footer for birdie. Can someone please remind him that he is 7th on tour in sg: putting??!!! This is the stuff that makes me pull my hair out.
Lol Xander didn’t hit his wedge close enough and couldn’t make the 8 footer. 8 footers haunt him for some reason.
Piercy close for Eagle on 10. Please make!
wait i actually spelled definition right! try what again?
This is great albeit quite dyslexic
The weird thing about Hideki for weekend golf is it’s impossible he can putt this well again and obviously got quite lucky there, but he also did gain like +4 SG: T2G today alone and that alone would put him one of the best in the field, even without the putting. And he’s cheap…so it’s interesting.
