Whodat, you’ll need to update the header with the course being used for this year – it’s Olympia Fields (North Course); thinks it’s 7350-ish yards and Par 70

Also, for those who play the Pat Mayo $15 entry

The Pat Mayo is only 5000 entries this upcoming week so reserve your entries while you still can
Already over a quarter-full – The contest is on his page (link below); scroll down for contest link

It won’t let me enter the PME :(
says due to my restrictions – sometimes that kicks in when it shouldn’t, not sure if the case here or not

seems to be due to it not letting experienced players in – but I would think many others in here meet that?

Looks like the good ol’ wait a bit and keep trying seemed to eventually work

I think they play the US Am events at this course, yearly or bi yearly? Haven’t looked that up but from the top of the head but I know Bryson won his US Am here in 2015

Pricing is out and DJ to no surprise is top spot at 11,500. Bison 10,600 and Mac 10,300 are on my DNP so they will probably top 10 or better. There are a lot of good choices between 6500 and 7700 range.

Am I the only one happy this is a no cut event?

Hoping to avoid the WD this week.

Setting and forgetting.. Good luck all! See you Thursday!

So are entering the Wyndham #3 HM or waiting for Tim to make one for this week?

Same? there are 25 spots filled already..

  • mitchsnyderdfw

So McNealy played here in during the 2015 US Amateur and his girlfriend won the 2017 Women’s PGA Championship here.

Not sure if any of that correlates to him playing well this week, but might be worth a look for salary saver.

Which J.T. Poston will we see this week?

waiting for Tim (I hope)…….41/150 (sorry for the delay but noon east time….I woke up)

$1 Happy Meal BMW Champ 1/100 is now open.

I hope its not confusing please bear with me. last week i told all of you why the wyndham contest is recurring and that We would have a 100 person contest this week. STOP entering the Wyndham happy meal. If it gets more people it will make it more confusing to the 1/2 lurkers.

  • MACKTYSON

Made 4 lineups, not even going to touch them rest of week. See how this works out.

Sounds good, came here cause I saw both contests available. Just withdrew my Wyndham entry.

I went looking for results on this……but I found articles only.
The amateur is match play format.
have you seen anything regarding stats on the course?

Furyk won the US open in 2003 here and it was a slugfest. Fyryk was -8 and I think 1 or 2 others were under par. Everyone else was over par on the par 70 course. But I cannot find any stats on the course.

Had a really good cashing 4/6 last week with DJ/English/Kisner/Wolff. Pretty wild.

Bummed to have these no-cut events for a few weeks but at least we have a majors to look forward to right after!

I haven’t found any stats either. Just saw an article that Bryson (who won the 2015 US Am), Rahm, and McNealy all played that year.

Also, Morikawa and Wolff recently competed in the Fighting Illini Invitational in 2017, Wolff edged out Morikawa for the win, which was held at this course.

    Weather????
with a hurricane around New Orleans and a tropical storm following after, A standard track could take storm remnants up thru the Chicagoland area. Today the hurricane tracks west, but doesnt look like it will have any effect to chicagoland but….that could effect Thursday. The next one could effect the weekend.

    OR maybe Not…

In any case I dont think we would be deaing with 15 minute thunderstorms. this is a possible steady rainfall event. My advice is dont lock and load Yet.

Has there been a PGA event here more recently than the 03 us open?

No but the US Amateur was held here in 2015 when Bryson won.

  • sneaksox

    Maverick McNealy
    Jon Rahm
    Scottie Scheffler
    Robby Shelton
    Colin Morikawa

There is about enough information on this course and history to put on a matchbook cover. Going with two LU’s along multiple fronts and like someone said earlier lock and come back Thursday morning.
