What if DJ pulls out a walk off eagle like he did at Memphis. That hole location isn’t too bad if you hit the fairway. Casey did it earlier and Finau nearly did it.

There have also been like 10 hole out eagles this tournament.

EDIT: nvm, that tee shot isn’t going to cut it.

Did Hughes know he needed a par to make next week?

Because he seemed to go at the pin.

EDIT: well as long as he doesn’t pull a Brendon Todd, he’s fine after that bunker shot.

Mac Hughes needs Par or better to get into Augusta next April – c’mon Mac !!

I hope he makes it to the Masters. LOL, after that bunker shot, he looked like… I wish that just woulda went in. This is a life time putt.

Clutch bunker shot and a nervy 4 footer coming up as it’s probably worth $500K to $1.5M

Makes it and guarantees $400K in Fed Ex money plus whatever he gets for his finish next week plus he gets into all the Majors, Invitationals and The Players which may also set him up for a OWGR bump to maybe come close to getting into a WGC or two. Also a likely Olympic team spot next year.

Terrible 2nd from Hideki. DJ needs a 40 footer to tie. He’s still pretty locked into the 1 spot for next week though.

He has made me some cash over the last few months. unfortunately I didnt play him this week. I think he can do next week just fine.

Hideki is so high owned this is a huge putt for DFS purposes. If he misses, Finau gets T4 and Hideki loses a spot.

Lol why are they talking about DJ’s bad back from a few weeks ago. Clearly he just didn’t give a crap after that Thursday and quit and wanted a day of rest rather than play for a cut he wasn’t going to make.

Lol this stuff is really getting to you.

Scott clearly gave up after 15…he didn’t care. He had no reason to care. He just needed to get out of Rahm’s way.

All golfers are human. When they have nothing to play for, they don’t give it 100% mentally anymore. It happens in the NBA all the time night in and night out. Unless you are a machine, it’s pretty deflating to miss so many putts and then get a penalty on your last chance. It’s no different than Brooks not caring as much in non-majors or LeBron not caring that much in the regular season.

  • BIF

Not a big DJ fan but that putt was sick – crazy fast

  • TheKris

That shot was unreal! That’s usually the type of shot that knocks me out of the money. For once I’m on the right side of a beat like that.

Hopefully all the Rahm owners lose 10 points. Want DJ to win, even though I don’t even have DJ.
