Hey I will get out the Happy Meal Cup update later. I just combined the 3 contests and edited out the duplicate entries. FYI the winner was Ottwacity from the second happy meal contest.

a couple of guys had better 2nd entries and I hope they know only the first entry counts.
    100 filled
    20 filled
    6 was the last contest.
    6 dups 120 entries

    Dinner and a cocktail first.

Cheers! I thought I was going to finish in the Happy Meal money, but Harris English dragged me down. Can’t believe how bad he was today.

Second day in a row I finished 8th in the Caddie SD for $150

Should get some bonus crowns for that :)

  • deepfat

In general, what’s the strategy for R4 SD? I try to play guys that are chasing for the win mixed with players back in the pack that are hitting T2G but aren’t putting well. My R4 run has been dismal compared to my R2 and R3 SD lineups. Wonder what I’m missing.

  • badtrip

Threw $10 on Rahm last night. Rented a compactor for a home improvement project so I missed 95% of the coverage. Got in the house to see DJ drain the one on 18. Someone on here said something to the effect that Rahm’s putt was better than DJ’s ??? I thought for a second and maybe, just maybe I paused my TV this AM . Free compactor rental.

    You really won $350k???

Hows next week work, i keep forgetting?

You draft guys that start out with position points before anyone even tees off. FedEx ranking shaves strokes off.

I couple weeks ago I was greased and the next day I saw there were post deletions and some bans for political stuff. I don’t mix politics and gambling, but hey, I’m getting old. Glad to see I didn’t let it rip and get the ban hammer.

Last night I went to sleep saying to myself, self-don’t play anything Sunday, it’s all random no matter how smart you think you are. Fast Forward to coffee time this morning and a late start for golf…..click click click and I’m in, weeeeeeee

Two entries in the big $20 on DK and some ticket contests, what can I say, I am an action junkie.

How about that, cashed both and with an 11th place for $1K, plus some more $20 tickets, lifted myself right out the crapper today……fun stuff

Nice work – I only played 10 lineups scattered across a few contests but managed to win 2 of the $100 Golf tickets for US Open and a bunch 2x or 1.5x cashes.

Next week I’m just playing 3 lineups as it’s a small field and time to get ready for NFL

a quick look without opening is Lionirons can lose to only 3 others eruthruff, tim-usbr, and BrianVT. but the 3 chasers must win next week and hope Lionirons finishes low.

to many to mention can take over 2nd place or below.

    wait…..do we
    1) we play next week like any other. salaries draft team watch for scoring and accumulate points (FED EX Handicap be damned). Meaning the PGA championship and fedex points are 2 entirely different finishes(like the wyndham rewards)
    2) we play with the finishing bonus points already assigned and to par already assigned.

Today, I thought picking guys T6 from Sat were the better options. because I wasnt expecting better scoring, I thought the T6 had an outside chance to move up and anyone closer to first should have a great chance to stay there.
(tough event lots on the line, one of the lowest DK scoring events….Position points were gold IMHO)

but in a birdiefest, You try and take all the golfers in consideration. weather, early tee times, who struck you as being unlucky the day before, whatever reason. Its real easy to lose those position points in some tournments. A guy can go wire to wire day4 but they are 95% always higher owned. choices choices.

edit i min cashed on my LU and more than min cashed on my late capt LU.
In the late showdown capt mode. Rahm was too cheap. Hughes was cheap. Fitz was cheap. almost any of these 3 as capt allowed you to use 4 others from the top of the lederboard/salries

Just got back from a wedding.

What did I miss? Anything exciting?

Just kidding. That was a sick finish.

  • Awon1

Down for the week. However almost got Niemann though. Gen Z representing. Rahm is Gen Z too right? Or is he a millineal?

  • Awon1

Wow so Adam Scott did quit after all. What a disaster that must’ve been if you owned him. The leaderboard is way different than I expected. How did Tony Finau finish tied for 5th?

350k? My man you have to make sure to take some of that out and put it on a safe investment like Tesla calls.

    /s but is it?

Yea, I think JT was $15.5k because he starts in 1st place with 1st place points (plus being the best golfer and all of that). Like Rd4 SD, like Superstars said. Maybe my previous comment was confusing. He doesn’t get like 10 DK birdies for starting at -10; he’s just in 1st and has that position. I could be wrong, can’t remember.

Not sure that’s a fair characterization of Scott. All day Saturday plus the front nine on Sunday he had putt after putt after putt that could’ve gone in but just missed. Those rounds could’ve been so much better.

He had the penalty on 15 which sank him. After perhaps you could say he “quit”, but he also had to birdie the final 3 holes to make it to East Lake, so he may have been getting aggressive and got burned.
