Thanks to RG members for taking the time to write letters of support to Assembly Member Gray in support of his DFS bill.

I want this thread to have more replies than any other ones on the main page. Great stuff!!
Nice to see some good news. Here’s hoping the worm is turning a bit.
Agree that we need to promote the positive news on the stories concerning DFS. Congrats to the states of California and Indiana for taking a proactive approach this week.
Might have to move to Cali.
This is great news!
CA soon to be its own country. All DFS players are welcome.
Sweet never thought it would have passed out here to LIBERAL

This is a great start in California. Real momentum – it passed despite many knowledgeable observers thinking it wouldn’t.
There’s still a long way to go, of course. Here’s a good rundown if you’re interested in what lies ahead: http://www.legalsportsreport.com/7153/daily-fantasy-sports-california-bill/
Is california the second largest number of registered players of DFS?
Cali stays winning ;)
f yeah cali stays winning … cali>
I love being in Cali, Cali.
Way to go California!!
Seconded. Glad we have some common sense here.
Great to see momentum even after negative articles such as the NYT piece that just comes out. Glad people are seeing the good out of DFS too and not just the negative.
Smart move by Cali. Other states will follow. Modest regulation makes more sense than prohibition. . .
The Daily Fantasy Sports Players Alliance (DFSPA) thanks all CA players for their support of Assembly Member Adam Gray’s bill.
Next stop for the DFSPA is New Jersey next week where we have been asked to testify on behalf of players at DFS hearing.

This is some good stuff.
I really wish we could get a Federal bill to put all this crap to rest.
Also, anyone who thinks DFS is anything like betting with a bookie is an idiot.
Excellent
I wish the Indian Tribes in AZ, FL, and CA would understand that if DFS was taken away we are not about to run over to them and visit the Casino. A matter of fact their opposition to DFS makes me want to never set foot in their establishments…..Ever!!!!!
The problem is I’d guess quite a few of those players who can’t play anymore(in Vegas for example) do just that(run to the casinos.)
Proud to live in the best state in the union here in Cali. Only wish we could get an online poker bill passed as well, but the bickering between the various tribes makes that look like a long shot.

Those same tribes could prove a big obstacle for DFS.
