Seriously though guys, this is getting to be a bit much. I have played nearly every day for the past two NBA seasons, but I think I’m about to give it up. This is the first time since I started that I feel like I can’t win or that the chances are beyond slim. Last week I entered a $2 dollar 10 man where Chipotleaddict and youdacao entered after me, and they proceeded to put up a 356 and a 345. Almost all of us flat out cant compete with this.

I know this has been said about 1000 times in every way possible, but I think DFS is dead in a couple of years at this rate. I don’t know how the sites are going to regulate this but they need to figure it out… like quick.

Condia’s ranking is not misleading—-He mass enters every one of my $1 50/50’s on Aces

Rankings are formed only from contests with greater than 10,000+ participants. It does not reflect how well he does on smaller H2H’s. If these pro’s were so profitable why would they even bother with a $1 bet to win .80 cents?

I guess what I am saying or asking is that there are too many entirely different statements on here suggesting what is the root of the problem. Everything seems to be going around in circles and all we do is end up fighting ghosts.

Exactly—I don’t know why he enters and I don’t care anymore either but DFS has many problems the sites need to fix.

Are you serious? He does it because he’s being allowed to….and because there is more money to be had.

The problem isn’t Condia, it’s the sites allowing Condia to do this.

I will put up 20 $1 H2H in the NBA and see who plays me and how I fare. Trust me I suck at basketball. BUT, I bet I will be around 50%.
    I will report back here.
No it will not solve anything but I am sure some are curious.

  • shark61350

The key I think is to stay very far away from cash games with less than 25 people. Those are shark feeding zones.

Create your own league were the players have similiar experience on DK

THE SHARKS ARE ALL OVER THE $2 AND $1 LEAGUES,50/50’S,DOUBLE UPS,HEAD TO HEAD.

This is not going to end well.

18 were filled and no sharks that I recognize.

Again I realize that this does not prove anything either way.

The theme on so many of these threads is complaints about pros mass entering and winning simply because of their big bankrolls…why would anyone care if a pro entered one of his lineups in a single entry tournament, head to head, or a 50/50? He’s picking from the same player pool as I, and has no advantage unless he picks his single lineup better…if he does that all the time I need to, umm, pick better…

  • rainbowtroutman

Well than,go challenge Condia or Sasill every night and let me know how that works out for you over the long term.

By saying complaints about pros on ‘so many threads’ you are accumulating many issues on many threads into one statement.

Some of the contention with 50/50’s is that some of these ‘pros’ are max entering at very low games $1-$2.

    - Illegal? No.

    - Dick move? Yes?

    - Is it necessary? No.

    - Bad optics for DFS? Yes.

    - Does this give firepower to regulators that are looking to take DFS down? Yes.

    - Does it turn off users and have them lower and limit play? Evidently, Yes.

The issue with Single Entry as these same “teams” work together to enter LU’s that essentially allow them to circumvent the Single Entry Rule.

    - Once again, are they breaking site rules? According to the site’s current guidelines, No.

    - Should the sites’ enforce stricter, more transparent and clarified rules to protect the integrity of DFS? Yes.

    - Does it seem eerily mysteriously that they are dragging their feet to do so? Yes.

    - Does it turn off users and have them lower and limit play? Evidently, Yes.

    Hope that helps.

And I will add my two cents to the above post which is spot on. Over the past ten days I have been scooped by the same guy probably 100 times. Looked at bankroll tracker and we have basically split in the win column so we are both basically donating rake.

I have contacted Fanduel damn near every day about this. I don’t mind if you take one game at each level I post. But do you really need to continue to scoop when it results in a small roi. Limit the number of games at each level. Thank you Fanduel. Now limit the number of games a person can take. And don’t give me the lame response that I can pick my own games from the lobby versus posting. The lobby is loaded with studs.

I know I know, build better line ups.

You have a fair beef. DK can limit the number others scoop up. Just not sure you knew that.

Yeah, I might need to move my money to DK. And, I really don’t mind if you take games at each level. But why scoop when the win percentage is damn near the same. The guy is treating it like he is dominating me. I don’t want to donate rake.

My point I would like to make to the guy is, let’s just play one game for 25 bucks and let the other games go to different competition in which we might have a better ROI.

But I know some people will argue they are playing to make money.

On DK you have the option whether others can only play you once or as many as you wish. So that solves your problem.
I totally agree with your stance and it nice to limit the number of times a person can play you. I always limit it to one.

    Nice chat, fun to read.
JimKronlund, was definitely interested in your experiment and results.

Simple answer to original post. Start a league or join a league. I wonder if im a shark, I play ten man $1 contests and I dont mind seeing the same names you mentioned. They are tough competition. Ive beaten them, Ive been killed by them, thats just the nature of DFS for me. I like playing DFS, I am not going to be a “pro” hence the $1 contests. Yes I lose money overall on DK. My ROI is negative. YOU REALLY DONT BELIEVE everyone who tells you they make money, do you.

I shouldnt think I intimidate you, the pro’s dont intimidate me, but I like $1 contests – Im interested in a league, or you can join one of mine.

This shit is the poker equivalent of sitting down to a low stakes 10 man sit-n-go and having Phil Ivey sitting across the table from you. It’s just completely ridiculous.

    This is funny,

anyone think that if Phil Ivey was in a low stakes poker game, that you would be able to play him??? The waiting list would be in the hundreds if not thousands. A chance to play against someone like that for low stakes and the bragging of I BEAT …..

obviously your losing, buck up, we all have streaks. But dont you remember beating youdacao or chippolteaddict. I am sure you have won several times. The fact is its not worth your bragging about. No thrill if you beat them.

100% agree. You CAN NOT tell me that these pros dont win enough without having to go to the $2 games. People say “well play in the lower level games.” Duh, I am and they’re still there. Not to mention 100 lineups to boot. Its just ridiculous that the regular everyday, lets have some fun, players cant win. DFS should be able to, somehow, fix this. Dont say the rake and they lose money, blah blah. DFS makes more money then they can keep up with. They dont really need the pros putting in 100 LUs in $2 contests. And also agree that once people realize this the industry will slow down. Just like poker did.

I play Golf and these issues are not relevant and its pretty much an equal playing field.
Some of you should try it. Its 4 days of up and down emotions, but at least you can compete equally.

agreed. love golf. I believe I can hang with the big boys in golf lol. And your right. 4 days after the initial entry. Unless of course, your out after the first day (which has happened)

If you throw 5-10 LU’s, rarely would you ever be out after day 1. LOL maybe after hindsight.
