I haven’t seen a thread for this one so I thought it would be a good idea to have one.

What do you guys think of CareerBuilder Challenge? Who will win it? Any value plays on the board today?

Tons of value in the 7k range

And all in on Patrick Reed

I’m not sure what to make of Phil Mickelson. Would you rather go with Kuchar + Haas or Reed + Mickelson?

Reed + Haas, but I like Mickekson over Kuchar

So the days of a 10 page thread prior to the first group teeing off have ceased?

I think they’ll come back once the majors get started

I think pat. Reed is more likely to miss the cut then win this week.

Got no one more expensive than bohn. Lots of Matt Jones and summerhays. Looked hard at current form and some guys who played well at q school on these courses in 2012 and 2011.

  • qatman

For cash my highest priced guy is Leishman at 9300. I may regret not playing Lovemark in cash but went with a balanced approach this week as none of the top guys seemed attractive for their prices.

  • AB99

Reed is pricey but with Form I think you need some exposure. I like me some Summerhayes, Trahan, Charley Hoffman and bit of B Ho

  • bluetieguy

    Nice start for Bill Haas

  • badtrip

Palmer and Na are my keys. Would not mind seeing a break out from Van Aswegen.

  • ninerzfan8

Looks like shot tracker only on Pga west since that’s the main course, makes sense.

Freaking haas with the hole out on 1

Mcgirt first one of my cores to start slow. I swear I never start out good.

Thoughts on David Hearn in this tourney? He is 2% owned seems to be playing well to start the new season.

I love him but not touching him until I figure out if he can putt non anchored. He was like the last guy to switch. Know he started good last week and faded not sure why that was and didn’t look at his putting stats.

Hey, thanks for the feedback ninerzfan8

He’s on Stadium, which should be the hard one, so it is not surprising.
May actually be a preview of what sort of blow ups we will see, in that McGirt is usually pretty good at scrambling.
Looks like he hit in the water just now too – thanks

3 bogs in a row. That will be so tough to do anything for us owners now. He has to really get it going.. Stadium course isn’t that hard for these guys believe me.

now he has the hard hole compared to the holes he bogeyed.

  • qatman

A very nice start for Si Woo Kim on the Stadium Course – missed a 3 birdie streak by 2 inches. I’ll be happy with -2 or better on that course, and ecstatic with -4 or better.

This lack of shot tracker is annoying – I’d like to see what in the world Leishman is doing.

Yup Mcgirt is done for. Now a double. At least I don’t have to follow two lineups now. Down to 4 left.

  • thetitanlb

Man what is Mcgirt doing lol. He must have gotten wasted last night and is still drunk.

Yeah I have a nice lineup going with Leishman so hope he gets it going.

One does not scramble from water.
