What point range typically win MLB cash games and GPPs? In other words, what is a good point goal to build a lineup towards?

I have only been playing for a few weeks now with 130+ cash games under my belt and what I have found in general, I shoot for a 275 score and find that I cash a majority of the time. I tried 300 for a while but I have found it hard to hit 300 consistently when constantly playing guys based on floors.

That said, I have scored 320 and not cashed in a 50/50 and scored 255 and cashed so each slate will be different, especially if there are several high or low octane match ups.

GPP will be different and I don’t have any guidance there.

Hopefully someone with more experience can shed light on both.

In mostly $1 and $2 games, since November 14th (when my nba season started) the average score in the “Main” slate on Fanduel has been 273.85 (143 entries) for 50/50s and 289.05 (42 entries) for gpps. I play mostly small gpps though (600-1000 people) and I would guess the higher the number of entries, the higher the average minimum score needed to cash. Hope this helped.

Would anyone know the target scores for baseball cash games and gpps?

I play mostly on FanDuel for MLB and to cash in 50/50s, I’d say a safe minimum to plan for is about 35 points and 50 points for GPPs like the MLB Bunt.

Sorry totally skimmed right over that. You clearly asked for mlb. Don’t play mlb dfs….yet.

It can really be all over the place. There is a lot more variance in MLB. I play mostly cash games, but on FD I’ve cashed in 50/50’s with as little as 21 points. I feel pretty comfortable if I clear 35 that I will cash. In the few GPP’s I’ve played winning scores have been 70+

I’m the worst MLB player in the world so don’t ask me.

It’s actually interesting, as it seems to me the chalkier type pros succeed more in NFL/NBA but the contrarian guys seem to do better in MLB. I may be WAY overgeneralizing here and don’t have any stats to back this up. It would make sense though as MLB has so much variance day in and day out.

I feel like typical cash lines in H2H are 40 FD pts and around 45 for GPPs.
