“Draftkings players with $1 Million in lifetime entry fees will not be able to play in contests that have an entry fee less than $5 AND a total prize pool less than $25,000.”

Draftkings was so proud of their High Volume Player Restrictions designed to protect casual players that they made sure the Quarter Jukebox didn’t qualify for those restrictions and casual players can still be chum for the sharks.

Way to go Draftkings! Great policy! Really love that you emphasized the “AND”. If it wasn’t for the bold letters, casual players might actually think they are playing with other casual players. Good thing you took the time to emphasize that word, so you can make a prize pool of a $.25 tournament large enough to invalidate the protections and feel good about the decision.

Once again, I did not make this thread because I lost a gpp. The fact that is even mentioned is laughable since I don’t hide my results on this forum.

Evidently Chipolte Addict is too dumb to realize he’s biting off the hand that feeds him…..He’s probably the type of guy who will wake up one morning and say “gee, I wonder why (fill in the blank) DFS company went out of business”. LOL.

Evidently Chipotle Addict needs a babysitter to make rules for him because he’s not smart enough or he doesnt have enough common sense to do it on his own.

So my proposal would be as a first year player, you can play in any contest you like for an entire year after initially signing up.

From there, every player has their rolling annual net winnings evaluated along with their contest volume on a daily basis. Some type of formula needs to be developed using these two factors in evaluating players. That’s just off the top of my head. Obviously, Draftkings has put very little thought into this. Probably about as much as it took me to come up with the first two sentences in this paragraph.

Chipotle Addict and Papagates are brothers who have developed a system/computer program that allows them to make the best plays on a weekly basis. The only defense against this is to not play in the tournaments they are in. The other pros in the industry know that both of them collude together to profit virtually every week and they do nothing about it so it will never change.

Well Draftkings is like letting billionaires knock over a homeless guy to grab that $5.

Except the homeless guy in your analogy (you) can fight back and beat up the billionaire. You just have to make better lineups. Oh wait that’s right you can’t beat him hence why you are complaining…

Really about the ecosystem? So tell me this if you removed papa and chiptoles 40 entries from the QA is the cash line gonna change that much to change the entire ecosystem? No and you are delusional if you think it will.

Sure on some weeks the cash line will be lower like on the week they won. But on some weeks it will be higher like this week in which they lost a lot.

Having them play or not play one QA a week isn’t changing anything for anybody.

Sigh. I guess you’ll never understand. And by the time they see the numbers changing dramatically it’ll be too late. You can’t get people back. Once my money is gone I am never coming back to DK. They’ve lost a customer for life and you know there are a lot more of me out there.

The build better lineups doesn’t really make since when your talking games in the $0.25 range. Most people that play in micro stakes like this have full time jobs and stand zero chance against pros who do this for a living. Not everyone has no life where they can spend 1-2 hours minimum researching just to have a shot at winning $0.50. Like it or not there is a % of players that want to do this for fun and play casually yet still not lose 90-100% of the time.

Boggles the mind how this guy is so clueless. Casuals aren’t gonna keep playing if the cards are stacked against them. Once they realize what is happening they’ll leave. Winning is hard, winning against professionals who spend hours every day is definitely harder. Make better lineups sounds like the same thing as “word harder and you’ll make more money” which we all know isn’t really true.

The quit then. No ones stopping you. I’m sure DK won’t miss you. Quit if you really think it’s unfair. If they miss you or the other casuals who will quick pretty sure they woulda changed their business model now. It’s so sad your complaints. If you don’t like it then quit. No ones stopping you.

There are plenty of people who don’t do this full time and are winning. The same ones who aren’t complaining here but learning to get better. Most are losing anyways 10% are overall winners in the long run so it’s not like most people except to win. If you expect to win then you are just delusional.

Even if chipotle didn’t play the QA you would still lose if you are losing now. I can’t believe people don’t understand that fact. I hope DK bans chipotle from the QA. You still wouldn’t win so the next thing you would complain about is chipotle must’ve created a new account to play the QA. Guarantee that will happen.

FFS man. You don’t seem to have read anything we wrote. Why do you even bother responding with the same replies over and over and over? Most of our replies aren’t about us but the casuals who make this site run. Without them there is no site. And if the sharks dont go in the low stakes that means the casual players will win which is a GOOD THING.

Lol you don’t read anything I wrote. I clearly stated banning chipotle and whoever else from QA WILL NOT help casuals. If it would I’m 100% positive DK would have done so already. Do you think DK is stupid and has no data to support this?

It’s funny you think you know DKs business model and think the suggestions you are making is actually gonna help DK somehow in the future so casuals don’t quit. That’s the funniest thing of all.

No you are making the suggestion because you are losing and you admitted in your post above you are going to quit because you kept on losing since all the sharks keep on playing NHL. You aren’t trying to help DKs business model. Get out with that crap.

Young millenial that thinks he knows everything and you’re an idiot. Just tell him he’s right, give him an internet hug and move on. I’m also sure there is a reason he never added his DK user name to his profile.

Bill you are the dumbass who always thinks you are right. You’ve never changed your opinion on anything whereas I’ve been willing to acknowledge others.

How’s your new belt buckle you got for Christmas treating you? Or are you too poor to even afford that? Why don’t you say half of the NBA forum is full of shit go ahead post that on here. More than half of the posters don’t have accounts either.

The funny part is you think you are an Internet tough guy. Must’ve been bullied a lot in hs.

    https://rotogrinders.com/profiles/blahaaron

Doesn’t have a user linked either. Of course billholler would NEVER bring that up since it’s not a personal attack against me and it doesn’t support his argument.

It’s quite clear bill is a hypocrite and loser who can’t even get his facts straight and resorts to personal attacks because he is too dumb to put together 1 logical sentence.

He (ChipotleAddict) won a $0.25 contest with $10K in total prizes on Wednesday. I thought that was against DK rules? Wish I could attach the screen grab.

DFS was only a substitute for lack of sports betting. Now that’s the laws have changed and the growing influence of ‘sharks’ in the DFS has been highlighted, DFS is dead. Why do I want to play these games against dudes with computers and machines that just spreadsheet thousands of lineups a day into every single contest there is when I can just throw 10bucks on a spread and see what happens. I’m sick of the way the DFS community has just become unchecked and been allowed to spiral out of control. But I guess it’s like America on the whole. A small percentage control the majority of the wealth and those in charge don’t want to change the rules because they are greasing the pig as well. It’s really too bad they spoiled a good thing.

You keep playing because there is always a possibility that you will have that perfect lineup that will eventually hit and will win you 6 figs or more. Happened to me with a single entry in an 118k entry NBA contest back in February. Casual players can win the big tournaments occasionally even though the majority of the time the sharks will eat up the winnings at the top of the contest leaderboard.

  • Oysterhaven

I’m in a contest tonight with ChipotleAddict. $4 entry fee but the purse is $60K with 1st getting $3K. Love that DK loophole.
