Hi everyone, we wanted to let you know that today college sports returned to DraftKings DFS, in select states. The initial CFB contests were posted to the main lobby a few moments ago, here

Where can you play? See the full list of eligible states, as well as other contest information here

Because regulations differ from state to state, please note that DFS contests will be live and viewable in the lobby for all, but users in prohibited states won’t be able to participate. You will see a pop-notification if you are in a restricted state.

There has been ongoing demand from the player community for the return of college sports contests and we are happy to be able to share this news with you. If you have any questions, we’ll do our best to answer or clarify here.

That has been changed. You can no longer edit in banned states.

Been doing this for two years. Drive 15 minutes, enter contests, back to banned state and edit. Once a week for weekly contests like golf, nfl, nascar etc. No problems. DK and FDallows this.

  • tprokopenko

I don’t see any mention through the link provided, but I assume Canada is all good to play?

If this is still the case, i’m very interested in playing cfb dfs. If not, I’ll think about it

The pricing is so tight that it will alienate casual fans who just want to play some known players and force hardcore players into all the same value plays.

This happened a few years ago, but luckily, they made pricing a little looser and all was good again. Looks like there is going to be an adjustment period this time as well.

The pricing was clearly done by someone who has never played CFB DFS before

lol… yeah every position should just be a heisman candidate…

They aren’t gonna quit becaise they can’t squeeze J’Qwon Jeffries and Meshack Abendego in the same lineup…..they are just going to play two lineups with one of each next to their alma mater’s tight end to make weight.

They wanna turn this into a $100,000 bingo card not a 2/4 limit omaha 8 or better night in Billings, Montana.

Also bruh… you got your jersey on backwards in your avatar

    yup

Cool. CFB was on of the last places where it felt like you could get an actual edge by putting in your own work. See if that remains the case or if they’ll be hundreds of articles, projections, optomizers etc. as well.
Either way, glad the option is going to be there.

  • bucherpsu08

I’m not able to play since I am in Maryland but I figured I’d check out some pricing. Trace McSorley under 10k….lock and load that all day.

  • yort05

Im in Maryland. But only 25 mins from DC and VA. Count me In!

“Dad, why are we going to Philly by way of Jersey City?”

  • 100rings

MtDurham You can make fun of Peasant Power all you want but the pricing is tight. I love college football and know every team every player and it is tight, enough said. He is right the 2 or 3 friends I called up last night that are casual college football fans wouldnt make a team because they couldnt make one with players they know. Doesnt have to be heisman candidates, but has to be people they know. Keep up making fun of people on a message board though, builds character.

    OHIO SUCKS!!!!!!

I was out of town and just got back in, seen the CFB tab and was excited. Went to enter and got the pop up that it was banned in Ohio. Has anyone seen the exact reason yet, as Ohio has yet to have any bylaws or anything passed as far as sportsbooks due to Kasich not wanting to get into it as he will be leaving office and wanted to leave it for the next Governor.

Ohio has a fantasy sports bill that Kasich signed into law in late 2017. As far as I know, any state that has a fantasy sports bill/law on the books has the “no amateur sports” clause.

Yeah, I just read through the whole H-132 Bill he signed. At first I was going off the article written, where all it mentioned was no Fantasy offerings involving horses or horse racing, until I read the entire bill.

    (B) A fantasy contest operator operating in this state
shall not do any of the following:
    (1) Operate or offer a fantasy contest based upon any
university, college, high school, or youth sporting event.

I could drive to WV but not sure if its worth 2 hours round trip to do so.

45 mins to KY…might have to do that in the future……as long as i can edit the entries back in ohio..

    p.s…..Kasich is a Moron.

  • davefulche

You should be able to edit a contest you entered in another state because when you entered it was allowed. Nevada I can understand no editing since all DFS is not allowed. What a disaster this is and for one of the few sports at one time you could beat the real big $$$ and computers.

Kansas has one but is the best – zero restrictions and fees. True free market.

  • Mutigers

I hate Kansas :)…..but live near state line and drove into Kansas to do some CFB entries this afternoon.

You can reset your location and if it doesn’t work then clear your cache and cookies through your phones settings
