So, long story short, a shelf landed on my computer, and now something really weird is up with my SSD, and can’t find relevant info anywhere.
Basically, my boot drive is on my SSD, and Windows still boots fine.
But, it doesn’t show up in device manager, nor when I want to assign a partition letter for the drive. It shows up in BOIS, but shows that it’s working normally.
What’s really bizarre is in BOIS and the Device Manager the SSD is listed as my main C: drive. I don’t know enough about computers to know if this is normal, but it was always my D: drive and my hard drive was the C:. This throws a complete wrench in trying to find relevant solution information. I can’t tell if the issue is actually with my SSD, or with my actual CPU.
I had all my DFS content and Steam saved on the SSD as well. So, this is far from life ending, but extremely important to my time investment I recover this information.
All the information I can find is on NEW SSD cards, or when it’s broken it’s never used as the boot drive.
I obviously don’t want to reformat as it will kill my boot as well.
Any help would be really appreciated.
