Why did u get a tiebreaker in your qualifier and I did not? I thought ties end up with both people paid out and another qualifier being run with current qualifier ending up voided. I wanted the head to head tiebreaker when it happened to me and I was told its not possible.

This has me curious to see a FanDuel response.

I need a response to this too, it’s got me bothered. My head to head tiebreaker was turned down and cheeseisgoods wasn’t…..what gives?? People on these forums KILLED me for wanting a tiebreaker. They all told me to read the fanduel rules and that a tie ends up with both people getting paid and basically ‘tough luck u don’t qualify’….why does cheeseisgood get a different option?????

I’m a top player on fanduel, I put in 4k every day, why did I get stiffed and cheesisgood easily gets a head to head tie breaker? I need answers now before I take action. Me having that entry into the playboy mansion could have made a huge difference in my life financially.

I’m not going away, I’m really mad about this. I’m not a brand name in dfs And cheesisgood is, so when he ties for a qualifier he gets a tiebreaker, and when I tie for a qualifier 4 months ago I am told NO. Both on fanduel qualifiers for live events. Explain NOW. I don’t play around.

So one qualifier allows head to head tie breakers and another one doesnt?

Correct, the rules for NBA PFBC stated that in the event of a tie no one would be awarded the seat. For this event FanDuel changed back to the way it used to be which is a H2H playoff. In both cases they followed the rules that were established when the contest was announced.

Have you ever considered the person you tied with? What if they simply wanted the cash instead of a H2H playoff? Would it be fair to them if FanDuel changed the rules just because that is what you wanted?

No one said the conditions were changing from one contest to another. It’s sketchy as hell. You’re little cheesisgood millionaire gets his easy head to head chance and win while I had to fight to get a head to head tiebreaker and lost.

To back up what Seth said. The terms for the PFBC were that there would not be a tiebreaker. So we could not change the terms once they were announced. Due to user feedback (including yours), we have gone back to the tiebreaker to determine the seat winner. These rules were clearly posted at the beginning of each contest, and were not changed because cheeseisgood was in a tie, as you seem to be implying.

I’m not sure what’s sketchy, as the terms were announced beforehand, and we stuck to our terms for both contests.

How do you find time to research when such a large portion of your day is continually devoted to whining, bitching and moaning? I’m genuinely curious. Do you have to follow a strict schedule to fit everything in?

    Congrats to cheese.

Unbelievable that his h2h opponent won the Q last night. Instead of bitching and complaining he went to work.

And here comes the conspiracy theory….

I just saw that BigGameAims won the Q last night. That is seriously one of the best things I’ve ever seen. As thrilled as I was to make it to the final, I sincerely felt terrible for BigGame as he obviously deserved it too. He sounded like a really great guy when we spoke on the phone, and for him to come back the next night and take down the Q is just beyond fantastic. Congrats to him!

That’s amazing, I can’t imagine how gut wrenching it would be to lose a H2H like that, to come back and win the next day is one of the best stories I’ve seen in DFS.

Ryazan, why do you rant on the forums instead of flooding FD’s customer service? I feel that would be much more productive.

Pretty awesome to see that happen.

We’ll make sure we get a picture of you guys together at WFBC to commemorate the occasion.
