I’m sure none of you will ever forget your first GPP win. To share this moment with 492 other people is truly amazing. First place was $20K. How much did you guys end up getting? $218.56? That’s still good. Just don’t get too cocky after a big GPP win. Make sure to take a few dollars out for yourself.

Also, this contest wasn’t sponsored by Oprah was it?

    there was $100 left over

also, I’m tired of these lineup sharing sites! i bubbled my teams last night and these lineup sellers cost me thousands!

Love the thread title. My vote for best of the year.

So have we determined how this happened and what site LU generator created this logjam?

I just ran last night on my optimizer. This lineup had $100 left over but it was the “Perfect Lineup” you couldn’t have improved it. On a two-game slate where no random players went off a bunch of people hit the perfect lineup. All we can really say at this point is #SkillGame

P.S. The Perfect Lineup on DK was: Holiday, Middleton, Antetokounmpo, Parker, Kanter, Beal, Ibaka, Cole for a total of 310.5. No one hit that on DK (that I have seen) but people were close at 309.

I have a hunch this result wasn’t a lineup generator or lineup selling site (suppose it’s possible but doubtful it attributed to THAT many duplicate teams). With only two games…..there was a pretty limited amount of ways to build a team using almost all the cap which this team did….and you have to consider ALL the chalk hit (everyone 25% or higher)

My math may be wrong, but multiplying all the ownership %s has that lineup as a 1 in 1,570 chance of randomly occurring. Randomly you’d expect 89 instances of that lineup. Factor in roster construction and salary requirements and the fact that some of those plays have to be correlated and 492 instances of that lineup are totally reasonable.

I had that lineup, it’s the only lineup that didn’t truly punt at any position, and had all good players but not stars. In other words, it was a balanced Westbrook lineup

guys i was being sarcastic about the “lineup sellers”

  • bothfeef

I had that lu and didn’t use a builder or buy it.. just a result of a small slate.

  • CUTiger81

    Clearly Condia is selling lineups.

Yes, exactly. Like some already hinted at, this is likely to happen much more on FD than DK with flex spots.

  • eom

awesome thread — thx for posting that

  • mattyice522

I had the lineup too. Like the guy above said it was the best balanced westbrook lu u could do

  • BreesToGraham

Same here….just went w/a balanced lineup approach, like a cash game, due to it only being a 2 game slate. My first time to take down a GPP; along with like 492 others, haha!!!!

  • Sleepyfloyd16

There were some people with more than one entry, so I’m probably only sharing this special moment with about 400 other people. You can never fracture this bond that we all share and hopefully we can all connect and stay in touch over the years and look back on this moment with fondness and glee in our hearts. I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m going to buy a new blender. Probably can’t afford one of those really fancy ones, but maybe a decent refurbished model.

  • Putz

I created that lineup and told 491 of my friends, but forgot to play it myself. Maybe it was a lack of confidence.

  • americanpaleale

Well I also had the lineup and in the Swat as well. Winning the big bucks would have been nice, but $318 profit for the night, I’ll take that any day
