Is it a new change in tos that you can’t withdraw from a contest within 15 minutes of a garunteed contestest starting? I don’t remember that ever being an issue. I wanted to withdraw to enter a bigger contest with overlay but it wouldn’t let me withdraw. Bummer for dk. I wanted to withdraw from the $1 to enter the $8 and am $1 shy in my account.

was the contest full? If so, you can’t withdraw from a full tourney..

Nope still had over 600 entries to fill

    From DK FAQ:

Users can withdraw from any contest as long as they meet the following conditions:

-Users may unregister from unfilled Head-to-Head or League contests at any time.

·Users may unregister from Guaranteed games until 15 minutes before start time.

·Users may NOT unregister from a filled Head to Head contest.

·Users may NOT unregister from a filled league games.

    It’s always been that way…

Ok thanks. I guess in all the years I’ve played I’ve never tried to withdraw that close to lock.

From my experience not trying to withdraw from contest but trying to add to contest that look like massive overlay from ‘Your Contest page’ it shows that their are still tons of entries available in the last few minutes but when you go to submit it tells you the contest is full. That happened a few times so now I go specifically to the ‘MLB Lobby and pay attention to the contest I am interested in’ So I can see the entries going up.

i imagine it’s because are worried about syndicates clogging up the entries of gpps then last minute unregging

contest has 100 entries, syndicate of 70 fills it up, 60 of them withdraw last minute leaving final 10 to enjoy massive ovelay

same for h2h, otherwise I sit every single open h2h to be to the only guy left standing then a few minutes before lock unreg from all the other cash regs

From the DraftKings FAQ found at https://www.draftkings.com/help/faq

·Users may NOT unregister from a filled league games.
Go to the “My Contests” page and click on the “Edit” tab under the lineup column you will be directed to the Draft Lobby of that contest. From there you will see a green “Withdraw Entry” link in the upper right hand corner of the screen. If you click that link, you will be removed from the contest.
If you are using our App, in order to remove an entry from a upcoming contest (you must have a lineup submitted), go to the “Upcoming” tab and then click on “Edit Entry”. From there, click on the Information Icon (the lowercase i) and select “withdraw entry”. – DraftKings Community Team
