RG Overall Ranking
A lot of overlay might have to play this week.. the 25 dollar I mean
I am playing the newly renovated US Naval Academy course next week, lots of water views, elevation changes. The price is right this time…FREE
2019 Punta Corales :
The winner (McDowell) and runners up (Hughes/Stroud) were a combined -24 on the par 5’s and that includes a triple snowman for Stroud. That’s 46% of their under par scoring on just the par 5’s.
I would then ask, were they excelling in par 5 scoring leading up to that event, or do they just have other parts of their game that matched what was needed to score well at these particular par 5s?
I’m looking at their season stats right now, and those three are not good par 5 scorers. Just something to contemplate if trying to find other golfers who fit the course.
I’m kinda the same way but I still like a deal.
I went and play Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links in Nova Scotia last year – ended up playing 36 a day because the replay rate was 50% off regardless of you played the same course or the other one so I still paid like $200+ for the first round but the second round was cheap(er).
A year or two before I went to the Bay Area to play some golf and down all the way to Monterey. Played 36 at Pasatiempo for about $200-$220 on a GolfNow deal where that’s the cost of one round now. Same with 36 a couple times at Bayonet & Black Horse (love those 2 courses) for about $100 on GolfNow and that included cart and range balls. Got a bit of a deal at the Stanford Univ GC course as I went there for an Exec program and it is one of the better university courses I’ve played (I know there are many better but just haven’t been).
Not sure, he’s been playing well the last few weeks (and heard good things about him as he played with a friend of mine a couple weeks ago in that series of tournies they are running in Canada right now) but I still feel (despite the weak field) it is a step up for guys coming from tours 2-3 steps below and now playing tropical golf on totally different grasses.
Not playing too many lineups but may throw him on one for FOMO reasons
Well at least until Friday afternoon 😂
Kidding, good luck – this week is a bit of a crapshoot; I’m playing 10-12 LUs compared to the usually 30-40
I don’t think par 5 scoring matters here. Most everybody gained strokes on them here last year. Hunter Mahan who we know is very bad at golf was -6 on the par 5’s but finished the tourney at only -5.
Biggest stats I’m seeing are GIR, BOW, OTT, and App 125-150.
This week:
Total
Same, made 10 entries vs a normal 25, just enough to have some interest.
I’m still playing my usual three LU’s but without the $20 Scramble for the Platinum crowns I’m scrambling to find non 150 max contests to enter so this week I’m playing (hopefully) my best single-entry into
$33 Dogleg
$27 Contest
$25 10X Booster
$1 Happy Meal
Then tossed that one and my other two in the Birdie to keep in practice and only 11 golfers this week
Winner: Conners
Fade: Zalatoris
Sleeper: Marty Laird
EURO Irish Open
Winner: Calum Hill beats Jack Senior in a playoff
Fade: Any golfer flying into Northern Ireland from Westchester County, NY
Sleeper: Cormac Sharvin
Dart Throws :
Winner : Grillo pad . Crazy that he’s one of the favorites, but the course fit is perfect. Now or never Emil.
Fade : Tom Detry. I guess he’s a fade because he’s $9400. Here’s a guy who might really have a US Open burnout after competing for 3 rounds and then imploding.
Sleeping : Killer Keith Mitchell. Everybody will be on Will Gordon at his price point (probably me too) but Mitch played the Latinoamerica tour in 2015 and finished as runner up here in 2018. He has an affinity for these tropical southern courses.
EURO Irish Open
Winner: Higgo
Fade: Lowry
Sleeper: Sordet the player not the wine
I have Sordet too – I like how he lines up here
You better jump in on Tim’s EURO $5 H2H in the League Lobby
He put up two and I got one
I love free money :)
I usually just search the word Single in the contest lobby to find all the good single entry GPPs and then sort by total prizes
Thanks Dunzor
I’ll see how this works out and if it is good this week I’ll definitely hit them more
Platinum is fun as I’ve never been here before but couldn’t do the Slice, Flop-Shot or PME 3-Max like usual
I’ll have three and working on my fourth Milly using only crowns for The Masters
Upping my MME from 75 LUs to 100 LUs. YOLO!
Good luck, I’m still on my good ole single bullet though when masters rolls around I’ve racked up a number of tickets
Winner: Sam Burns
Fade: Johnny Vegas
Sleeper: Bo Hoag
was looking at the player list and got a chuckle when i saw ‘barnrat’ in the field this week, i remember some poster would always play him…
You love giving away free money? This is the Irish Open and My dad always said I was decended from Irish royalty. Every year until now I looked forward to Irish Open/Scottish Open and Open Championship. This is the main reason I play at least a dollar in all the Euro events.
Besides I already gave my LU to LFN while I asked him to help me out LMAO.
Really could see leaving $8000 on the table when the $10000 plus guys are really $6800 guys.
This is fun.
I know Stenson hasn’t been great lately, but he’s miles better than anyone else in the field.
Looks like an opportunity to get him at a discount.
Bring it :)
